The store is cleaned, items are always properly stacked and pricing labels matching the proper products, wide variety of products. Cashier that took care of me was Naomi she did an outstanding job, offered helping me bag my groceries herself which was tremendously thoughtful of her, was quick, very polite and friendly.

Convenient location, good baked goods too. Grabbed chocolate angel cake for an occasion, well liked by everyone. Lots of other stores around.

Their selection of items is okay. The staff could be a lot friendlier. Gives off vibes of not liking their job. I do like that the store's only a staircase down from the Skytrain Station.

I always come to this store because is close to my home- however today I wanted to pay with my Apple Pay phone ( but my battery died). I spoke with Ashley which seems is the general manager to see if I can charge my phone 5 minutes to buy groceries- she said : we don’t have and I am not going to make one of my co workers to just give you one just for you” she had an attitude and not a very friendly face- I understand they can’t do that but she needs to learn customer service - she didn’t even said sorry I can’t help you or showed a little bit of empathy at all! She was just careless! I hope customer service improve in this Safeway- even if you can’t make anything for the customer you need to be empathetic with people! She just didn’t even care!

Very convenient to pickup groceries (for eg. on the way home from work) as it is located right at the Skytrain station. Unfortunately, there are quite a few homeless people seated right outside the store which can make for a nervous experience esp in the late evenings.

Spent money at this store.Got my phone pick pocketed today; went to Customer Service, as I was a customer who needed service.Requested help, since my phone was gone, to call my boss that I was late.Nope: Safeway policy is to keep non-in-current-use phone line open for customers who are not calling at 8AM.Asked where the pay phone was?Pound sand. There is none.What is the use for customer service if you don't service a customer in crisis? Service rep could've made the 3 min phone call on my behalf. Nope. Plan to do nothing still stands.If you don't service customers at customer service, what is Customer Service supposed to be there for?Another Businesses in New Westminster hate their customers".A shame. I liked this store until they closed their public washrooms

Such an rude customer service, they don't know about their job itself. They made me wait for long time and later when I asked to use the washroom they lied its out of order. They don't understand the value of the customer. Never going back to this store again.

Great location, very convenient but some of the older cashiers can be stuck up. Didn’t bother bagging my purchase or even handing the receipt to me. Avoid them!

People there have always been friendly and polite. Is a smaller Safeway but a good go-to for essentials, epecially when they have sales. Their produce is usually better than other chain groceries.

I usually like this area but after tonight seeing the type of crowd that hangs around here I truly feel bad for the employees. It’s other people who ruin it for everyone else. People who use the bathroom to do drugs.I heard a customer get upset at the poor cashier for an issue she had with security. If you have no compassion for the employees here & are upset over out-of-order bathrooms then you need to open your eyes to see what’s going on. Stop blaming employees when it’s other people who ruin the ability to use their free facilities. Go somewhere else before deciding to be a Karen
