Fairview HiFi

Visited this store for the first time today to find a new receiver. Received excellent service. Everything was fully explained in a manner that was easy to understand. The knowledge and passion of the staff was good to see. I felt like they wanted me to buy the right product for my needs, not like they just wanted to make a sale. Now that our new receiver is hooked up I am incredibly happy! The sound is great, and running it all from my phone is cool. I would highly recommend this store.

Amazing service and never felt pressured. I bought amplifier and turntable with their help and it was the price in comparison to other audio shops. Plus the other audio shop where asking $50 dollars for the setup of the turntable. Really enjoy going into the shop now that I have ditched my home theater setup and enjoying 2-channel setup :)

I wanted to share how helpful and courteous Fairview HiFi was with a recent audio concern I had at my house. I had purchased a TV and multi-channel receiver from Costco; however, I was experiencing a weird audio delay when watching AppleTV. Not knowing who to turn to, I decided to call Fairview Hi-Fi for tips or suggestions, only because I was familiar with their store/name near my home in Burlington. The gentleman I spoke with (Courtney) couldn’t have been more generous with his time and he helped me troubleshoot and solve the problem. Just wanted to say thanks and I’m a converted customer for future purchases!

I recently had Fairview HiFi install two flat screen tvs and some Sonos product at my house in Burlington. They were outstanding to deal with. Thank you Alex and Wes for the excellent service!

I have had Fairview HiFi do work for me in the past. They installed the speakers and system in my basement and main floor in my previous house. I enjoyed their service so much that I recommended them to others (3 people have followed my recommendation and had them do work for them). However, that was a few years ago. Recently I moved and I called Fairview HiFi to come and quote me on setting up a system and speakers. Simon came and quoted me on November 23rd. On the same day I responded to his email and told him I wanted to have them do the work and I'd like to begin ASAP. I didn't not get a response for over two weeks. I called again, and was told to call back in two days. I called in two days, and was told to call back after the weekend. I called after the weekend, and was given a promise that I would receive a phone call by 5pm the following night telling me when my system would be installed. I was given three scenarios of when this would take place. All scenarios involved the work being done by December 21st at the latest.No one called.I called the next day and the person on the phone had no idea of anything that I had been calling about. Instead of any of the three options I was given two days prior, I was told that I could receive install over a month after the quote (December 27th) and that's all they could do.I will never give my business to Fairview HiFi again. I will never recommend them to anyone again. If you are smart you will follow suit.So disappointed.

An excellent hi-fi shop! I have had speakers repaired here, bought other speakers, and had upgrades done to my turntable. Each time, with top notch customer service. Nobody is pushy to sell/upsell, they truly want you to get the best hi-fi system for the best price.

Very knowledgeable staff, discounted my cables because i was a previouscustomer.awesome selection of brands, enjoyed the listening rooms.Will be going back soon.Just purchased a pair of Monitor audio silver 8s.Great experience in purchasing, Simon really helped me out in mydecision making. Overall very positive experience. Highly recommended.

My most recent experience with Fairview HiFi included outstanding customer service. I took my Yamaha P450 turntable to them when the tone arm wouldn’t balance and cue properly. After them trying diligently to fix it on the spot, we decided it best to leave it with them to fully diagnose the problem. That was on a Saturday and two days later on the Monday I received a call from them that not only was the tonearm fixed, but they also cleaned the audio contacts and ensured the speed and tracking were spot on. I will be returning to Fairview HiFi for all of my audio visual needs.

Purchased a pair of Paradigm 6000F and Yamaha 485 AVR and was very satisfied with the service and help. Currently running into a few minor issues but I gave them a call and they're more than willing to try and help me solve my sync issue with my system. Def purchasing from them again.EDIT Jan 7, 2020: Regarding the issue I had before, I think we have solved the problem and I just want to add, you cant find service/help like this anymore anywhere, period.

Nice selection of high end great for all price ranges. Very accommodating in terms of listening to to various combinations of equipment. Good service. I purchased a pair of speaker stands for my Focal speakers. They came with a manufacturer's defect (screw threads weren't tapped out on one of the stands). No problem whatsoever.. They re-ordered another pair. Have purchased several items over the years from them. Competitive prices.
