Golden Paws HFX

Highly recommend Golden Paws for daycare and boarding. Bader is excellent with the dogs and he does a fantastic job with reinforcing good manners. Our dog loves the group hikes and it is great to see how much fun they had on Golden Paws Instagram stories.

Ruby our Golden Retriever has been going to Golden Paws for over a year now. She goes regularly plus has boarded with Bader multiple times. It’s her second home, she loves Bader and he’s really worked with her to reinforce recall, downs, sitting etc, she is very responsive to him. She is exhausted at the end of the day after trails, lots of friends and swimming…it doesn’t get much better than this!

Our golden doodle loves going on walks with Golden Paws! She comes home tired and very happy. Her recall also improved significantly after a few outings with them.

I highly recommend Golden Paws HFX if you are looking for someone who goes above and beyond for your dog! I have used the day care and boarding services for my golden. I have a peace of mind knowing my dog is going to a safe, caring and fun environment. The communication and updates are excellent. Every time we approach Golden Paws, my golden gets excited!

I recently used Golden Paws HFX for a 2 week boarding while I was away on business. When searching for a kennel" I wanted one that had a home setting and one whereby my dog would be well exercised and would not be left alone for extended periods of time. I boarded my 2 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever with Golden Paws HFX and I couldn’t be happier with the care, attention and activity he received while I was away.I appreciated the initial meet and greet to ensure all dogs safety. I was impressed with the fenced in play area- it was large, safe and full of toys.I LOVED being able to see the videos of the dogs playing in the field and on extensive hikes. I know the amount of energy my dog has and the attention he requires and he was sufficiently and happily exhausted upon his return.I highly recommend this daycare/boarding facility for not only it’s professionalism, but for the wonderful care my (fairly needy) dog received in my absence. *will definitelyUse again*!

My German Shepherd has been going to golden paws for over 6 months now. As a young puppy it helped with his socialization, and now he attends regularly whether that be a group hike a couple times a week or the odd weekend sleepover. Golden Paws treats your dog like their own, and I would recommend to anybody!

My dog Buddy loves it there. Not home more then 5 mins and he is already snoring on the couch. Great Job and thank you for being so great to him!

I recently took my dog to a local dog day care Golden Paws HFX and was extremely impressed with the level of care and attention she received. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they made sure to spend plenty of time with each dog to ensure that they were happy and well-exercised. Taking them to trails and lots of fun places.The facility was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of toys and activities for the dogs to enjoy. My dog came home tired and happy after each visit, and I could tell that she had a great time while she was there.Overall, I highly recommend this dog day care to any pet owner looking for a safe and fun place for their furry friend to play and socialize while they are at work or running errands. The peace of mind that comes with knowing your dog is in good hands is priceless, and I will definitely be bringing my dog back to Golden Paw HFX day care in the future. And can’t wait to try their boarding service
