Running Room

The staff here are friendly and helpful. I went here to pick up my running kit, and it was quick and easy to find. I had a question about Hokas, and the one staff redirected me to the shoe expert, who was very knowledgeable. Also, before I left, he pointed out more upcoming races I could sign up for this fall. Thanks!

First and foremost, Jonah deserves every bit of recognition he gets. He went above and beyond to help me find the shoes that I was looking for.After two lacklustre phone calls to other Running Room locations resulting in no help at all, I spoke to Jonah and he found the pair I wanted all while working by himself and quite busy.When I arrived at the store Jonah was very friendly and laidback. He ran me through all the pros and cons of the comparable models but assured me that he would help me out if the shoes weren’t working out for me even though they were a sale product.Even though there were many Running Room locations around me that I could have gone to, I think the Waterloo location was the right call from the start!

Amazing customer service. Went for my first real pair of running shoes. Both staff that I interacted with were really informative and helped me a lot for buying the shoes that would fit me the best. Will definitely return there next time I need something running related !

The fellow who served me was very friendly, helpful, patient as I explained my foot/shoe issue. He was very knowledgeable with his recommendations. He followed all Covid-19 protocols. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks again for helping me right at the end of your business day.

Everytime we shop here there's always knowledgeable and helpful staff. Range of shoes in stability and neutral, top notch clothing selections as well whatever the season. Great place to go to if you're a new or seasoned runner.

The employee with the English man hat is rude and unhelpful. Will not return.

My spouse and I both needed running shoes and were really unsure what would be best for us, but Jonah was so patient and helpful and helped us find shoes that made both of us feel so happy and were so supportive. Super recommended, because the customer service is so amazing.

I had the best experience here. I always have gone to Runner's Choice when I was suggested to go to the Running Room. It is not the selection that makes a running store great because they all have the same product, it is the service.I was served by a man named Jonah, and he was amazing. (He works every Friday during the day and I would ask for him specifically!) He was cheerful, enthusiastic, talked about mutual experience and was interested in me as a person, not just a customer. I showed him my old shoe, he came out with the newer version of it and then two other recommendations. He was happy to bring out more. I think he brought out another two that I asked about and disliked immediately, but he was happy to do it. His suggestion was perfect and his service is what made the store amazing.

Very rude staff. The guy working was very condescending and annoyed about the questions I asked about shoes. Been in multiple times and each experience with the guy is the same. I now drive to the Guelph location to pickup my HOKAs.
