Amal gave me a lovely wash and haircut with a last minute booking. She fixed up my poorly done DIY haircut in a jiffy with a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

I just had my hair cut at Amal's Hair Salon and absolutely loved the result. She is very professional, calm and lovely. It was a pleasure meeting you. I definitely recommend your place and will return. Thanks a lot for such an amazing experience! Also, I think it's important to mention at this time that she has clean protocols due to the covid that make us feel very safe and comfortable in being at her salon.

I needed a hair cut after quarantine, because my hair was so long and felt unhealthy. She did such a great job with listening to what length I wanted, and I absolutely love my new haircut! The length is perfect, and my hair feels so much healthier now! I highly recommend Amal. She was so friendly too!

4 days after booking and mentioning I have very long hair, Amal texted me on my way that she couldn’t cut my hair, upon arrival (and not having seen it) I called before knocking on her residence. She lied that she has only a salon permit and not a barber’s (there aren’t pro-gender discrimination bylaws), therefore could not legally cut a man’s hair. She then also lied that this detail was on her website which it still is not as of writing this.I understand it can be hard to read every appointment note in good time, but after making that mistake which threw an hour of my time and scheduling, please please do not add disrespect by lying after.

Such a great haircut! Amal was a careful listener, paying great attention to my request for a simple trim. After she kindly recommended I go a bit shorter (to really get rid of my split ends), I trusted her 30+ years of experience - and I’m so glad I did! I LOVED my new haircut, which ended up being a super cute summer look. While the service was professional, Amal’s place (inside her home) was very cozy and welcoming - a different experience than your typical day at the salon. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

Amal is such a lovely and warm, welcoming person. I love the feel of the salon space - the fact that it’s just you and her is so nice and makes it so much more personal than a traditional salon. I’ve always been super insecure about my hair, especially during the pandemic, and Amal made me feel like myself and feel beautiful again. I cannot recommend her enough - she is fantastic!

Amal was sweet but also very expensive and haircut was not that great too. when I booked my appointment for hair wash and cut $35 but she charged $ 75 and also charged for blow drying my hair. Too pricey for hair cut and wash. I would not recommend this to my friends
