Great location in downtown Parry Sound. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants and an amazing coffee shop Northern Perk! It is a great place to watch sunsets.

Somewhat rolly from local traffic. Too far to grocery stores, a $30 RT taxi ride. Marina needs to consider a courtesy car or a few electric bikes. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Love staying at docks because of the view and town is very close so you can walk. But showers are old and dark. Have to shower in one area then go into open washroom to brush teeth , dry hair or use toilet. Needs to be updated.

The staff are very friendly. Place is very clean. First time docking here and l love it. Can't wait to come back. Maybe next time I will meet the owner.

Love this marina! Andy and the whole staff are friendly and great help for all your needs. Thanks guys! Walking distance to restaurants and a nice waterfront path system with amazing sunset views of Parry Sound and 2 beaches. Taxi service is a flat rate of $11 in town to shopping. No Frills is the cheaper grocery store but on the other side of town. Sobeys has Canadian Tire, Walmart, dollar store and pet food among others.

The folks here at Big Sound Marina are very accommodating and helpful. However, they are very busy. If you are planning at staying here, it's best to make your reservations early. Facilities are clean. They have two BBQs to use. There is a Turtle Jack's and a Boston Pizza with walking distance, not to mention old downtown Parry Sound for shopping. There is a flight tour operator also within minutes if the marina. I would definitely stay here again.
