When my girl Winnie passed away, everyone at the clinic was so compassionate and helpful ❤️ It is clear that they really care, and I would absolutely trust them in the future.

My puppy had his last set of shots here.It was fast, the doctor called me and was really thorough, they gave my pup a lil kit of goodies which was so sweet.I told them that he isn’t eating his dry food they gave us 3 different samples to try from. I definitely would recommend them to your fur baby!Very caring :)I had a terrible experience at Spadina Hospital his first visit, I’m glad I made the switch.

They are the best vet office I've been to for my puppy. Staff are super friendly, always try to provide a welcoming environment, especially in some tough situations people are in. They have provided great care to my pup.

I have only the best things to say about Front Street Animal Hospital. When our cat became gravely ill over the holidays, they were quick to respond and managed to fit us in the same day. Unfortunately, we had to put down our sweet Prue and the whole staff (admin, techs, and doctor) was incredibly compassionate, professional, and thoughtful. They took such good care of all of us. Although it was a sad day, it was made easier by their thoughtful care. Just today, we received a handwritten condolence card from their team which is above and beyond what any other vet has done and demonstrates their level of thoughtfulness. I highly recommend this team.

I had an extremely negative experience at this veterinary clinic.I had made an appointment for my puppy to get their final round of shots, and a fecal sample to be sent out. On arrival the usual excitement and happy hello’s were had, we checked in and waited a few moments to be led into our room. Honestly this was the only decent part of the appointment. After we entered our room we chatted with the vet. technician about our puppy’s development, her temperament, how she was feeling, how a round of medication went, if we were sending her fecal sample off, everything necessary to start the appointment off. We mentioned that she could get a bit nervous at the vets, the technician reassured us the appointment would go quickly, and left to get the veterinarian. Five minutes passed, and then ten minutes passed and the veterinarian entered quickly after that. She said a quick hello and asked us our dogs name and why we were there. We were a bit surprised considering she had already chatted with the vet. technician. So we explained we were there for our dogs last vaccines, and to send off a fecal sample as per requested by the clinicThe Veterinarian then quite literally went through all of the questions we had answered in our pre exam, as well as the form asked for by the clinic. I honestly don’t think she even looked at our dogs profile profile or information. She didn’t know if our dog had been spayed or when she had been spayed, she rudely exclaimed it was ridiculous we had gotten her spayed so early and we had to inform her the rescue had done it. At this point our puppy was very restless and nervous I asked if it was possible to do the vaccines sooner than later. She then suggested our puppy was just bored and turned back to her screen to ask us more questions about medications. This was the biggest issue, they had quite literally completely forgot to even record our puppy’s medication, ever. It wasn’t on file whatsoever. The vet then quizzed us for about 5 minutes about the dosages and said that the humane society shouldn’t have given us any medication without referring to her personally. The humane society has many qualified veterinarians on staff so I’m sure were okay. At this point our puppy was freaking out. I asked very plainly to have the vaccines be given now, because we needed to go. The vaccines were given and the vet left the needles on the table where my puppy quite literally almost ate one, while she was giving us her finals words. Rude, unprofessional and with literally zero worry or care for the puppy’s state of mind. The cashout process was slow and we had to ask for the correct paperwork multiple times. Even though I stated it was a very bad experience with the vet. and I was in a hurry due to my anxious pet the receptionist still tried to push a pre-booked appointment as well as more heartworm medication onto me in a sales pitch. I don’t know if it’s a time management issue because It’s always extremely busy here, or just a lack of care, the staff shouldn’t put animals or owners through it. We will not be returning.
