Horrible service. Left my Asus laptop with them for a hard drive upgrade, first they installed windows 11 instead of windows 10 (the original one on the machine) without consulting me. When the laptop was returned, the back light on the keyboard was no longer functional so I had to send it back to the store.They couldn`t figure out the issue at the store and sent my laptop to the geeksquad warehouse in BC. When it returned and I went to pick it up, the people at the warehouse had literally drilled a hole on the body of the laptop and they still tried to return the product to me hoping it went unnoticed. I have been without my laptop already for 3 weeks, for what was a simple HD for SSD upgrade simply because they cannot perform simple tasks.Sadly I am a member and have to put up with them for another year, but that membership will be cancelled asap.

Never take your laptop, they'll break it rather than repairing it and put tape on your laptop as if you'll never notice it. Very unprofessional and they really don't know what they are doing.

I got my laptop serviced at the Sunridge location by an employee training under TRILOK.This agent said he needed to use his own email to set up my laptop. I don't know tech stuff so I thought this was okay.... the agent put a BITLOCKER on my laptop without my approval or go ahead!I woke up 6 weeks ago to a bitlocker on my laptop having no idea what it was. I brought it into 17th Ave best buy. 4 days later they said we need to erase it because of the bitlocker. You will lose everything.. they even had the audacity to blame me for it, I even showed them my email searching for bitlocker or whatever. It is now November and I am chasing them up for information when they should be following up with me! They said sorry we lost all your information, clients information, personal memories... we can offer you 100$ gift card! ARE YOU SERIOUS?? 100$ for losing videos & pictures I will never get back. My wedding photos, my niece who sadly passed away and you want to offer me 100$... DISGUSTING. I am on the cusp of losing my job because they lost my clients information with this bitlocker I'm down 2400$ due to their failure in training & customer service.I will be going in Saturday morning when they open and will be sitting in the store until they provide me with adequate compensation and my laptop! I will not leave until it's been provided as I have had ENOUGH

10/10 service and work ethic. I had an issue with my PC booting up after moving here and the representative David was super helpful and so kind as to explain the process for repair. After dropping it off earlier that day, David gave me a courtesy call to tell me the issue has been diagnosed, fixed completely and ready for pick up within the next day. Would highly recommend them to anyone who has an issue with any electronics, whether purchased at Best Buy or not.

Came in for an issue with my laptop not booting up anymore. I specifically explained what happened prior to the issue. Hargon Randhawa didn't seem to be to concerned with how it happened and said she would run the $60 basic software/OS Diagnostic. Never got a call so went in the next day. She told me the drive had completely failed and that was why the laptop would not boot up. Asked if I wanted to recover the data on the drive. It didn't make sense so I paid for the useless Diagnostic (you don't even get a report). And figured out by watching a few youtube videos with my specific scenario. Even though I never found my answer I figured out that my drive was set to RAW. I'm no computer expert but I knew that my drive should have been set to NTFS. I learned how to change the drive to the correct format and voila. My computer booted right back up. Can't speak for all Geek squad locations but incompetence is what I experienced. Of course I will never go back as they clearly don't know what they are doing at the 17th Ave location.

The quality of staff is generally very high and they hire very helpful people, I did have one problem where one of their remote team messed my pc pretty badly, but the in-house team more than made up for it. I am happy I joined with them as my majority of my experience with them has been positive.
