Having Steve from Tara Lilly Photography with us on our wedding day was awesome! He was so fun to be around, easy to work with, and captured all of the beautiful moments of our wedding day. He has an eye for detail and was so creative with the shots he took. He even snuck us out later during the dancing to snap some extra shots at sunset…could not have asked for a better photographer! I recommend Tara Lilly Photography to every single friend who gets engaged…both Tara and Steve are caring, compassionate, dedicated, talented professionals. We feel lucky to have worked with them!

Tara and Steve are the best! The images they returned of our wedding were absolutely breathtaking and we are so glad they were the photographers we went with for our wedding. They had our venue mastered, totally took charge on helping us look our best and planning out how they were going to capture our big day. Breathtaking photography! Tara was the photographer for the elopement we booked through Whistler Elopements and we highly recommend her. Tara and Steve made our wedding so special! Tara was so unbelievable the photos she got of us are amazing! We were blown away. I can’t say enough good things about Tara Lilly Photography. As a wedding photographer myself I knew a ton of great options for capturing my own day but the decision was still an easy one. Hiring Tara to travel to Newfoundland and capture one of the most important days in my life was so easy.Tara worked hard to capture creative moments but also the candid interactions between our families. She put us at ease and we felt confidant the whole time we were in front of the camera.If I could rate 10/10 I would for how great they are!!!

We worked with Tara and Steve through Whistler Elopements and we had an amazing experience. We couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out – it is really hard to choose our favourites! The photo galleries were sent to us shortly after our wedding day, which was so exciting. We hired Tara for our wedding and she was by far the best vendor we had. Our photos are stunning and she did a great job of capturing candid moments, which is exactly what my wife wanted. We are so so thankful to have Tara and Steve capture our wedding! We got married at Sea to Sky Gondola which can be a tricky venue with all the different locations and views, but they captured every single moment perfectly! They were super easy to work with, very communicative, helped us with poses, communicated the first look, affordable, and very fast turnover rate for photos! My friends have waited over half a year for photos, we got them all much faster! Would recommend Tara and Steve to anyone who is looking to capture your wedding perfectly and for all photo moments!

Tara shot our engagement photoshoot and Tara and her husband Steve together shot our wedding. We did our engagement shoot in Whistler and it happened to be pouring rain in the village the day we travelled all the way from Victoria to do it. Luckily Tara knew a spot we could drive to at a higher elevation so the rain would actually be snow and we ended up with the most magical winter wonderland photos! On our wedding day the rain struck again slightly derailing our wedding day timeline / photo plans for the day. Tara and Steve were in touch with our planner and wedding party throughout the day (taking this off our hands) and took charge of adjusting the timeline and coming up with new shooting locations based on the weather conditions. I was definitely stressed watching my plans be derailed and they could both sense this and brought the best calming / cheerful energy as well as taking care of any of the logistical things so I didn’t have to worry - seriously they were ON TOP OF IT. I was also told by my planning team that they were helping them out with their tasks and drying off chairs etc before the ceremony as well! We are so thrilled with how our photos turned out. Highly recommend hiring Tara if you want 1) happy calm vibes 2) an experienced professional who is not thrown by last minute challenges 3) someone who is organized and will make sure everything stays on time and 4) beautiful photos!
