Birgit's Bakery Cafe
Nothing but good things to say about this place. Recently moved here, didn't know what to have. Brigit recommended the Superbula and it did not disappoint. Top notch ingredients and top notch service. Had an iced mocha-chino, wonderful, not too bitter but not too sweet. $17 for the meal in total!I'll be bringing my family and loved ones back here. Fantastic start to my day! My only regret is I didn't get any pastries, I was too full!

Birgit's Bakery Cafe
Generally good spot for sandwiches with lots of vegetarian options. I thought they were a bit expensive, but so much is made in house. The staff are lovely and so is the patio. Still recommend stopping by and supporting local. I had the veg option with the carrot relish and really liked it. My mum had the chicken and goat cheese option.

Sandwich was great, some of the pastries are good (maple tarts!), some are lacking in taste (hazelnut triangles), pretty pricey but I don’t mind paying more because it’s local and all homemade

Birgit's Bakery Cafe
I highly recommend this cafe.The cafe is very clean, the staff efficient and sincerely helpful.Egg sandwich on a perfectly toasted freshly baked bread with spinach spread, tomato, and thinly sliced red onions was so delicious.Chai with oat milk was pure bliss.Coffee and breakfast sandwich, “Feb”, are both A+.

Staying in Owen sound for a weekend of golf and every round should start with a breakfast sandwich and latte from Birgit cafe. The location is nice and a nice patio outside for the summer to enjoy your coffee. We had all the breakfast sandwiches and they all tasted delicious. We are already looking forward to tomorrow’s breakfast! Support local!

A beautiful little spot for breakfast or lunch. Creative sandwiches on homemade bread, delicious coffee, fantastic pastries and a fun atmosphere. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it is too busy for the space. It has limited tables and it can get quite busy! You can even get a beer or glass of wine!

So nice to have happened on this cafe around lunchtime! The staff/owners are dedicated to their art! Four of us ordered different sandwiches - all exquisitely delicious - served on the breads the cafe/bakery makes themselves. We ate out at the outside sidewalk terrace beside the very quiet main street. The food was complimented with tasty juices and beer ... and EXCELLENT deserts. This was a lovely oasis after touring the shops around town. Great to be so pleased with one's choice of restaurant and to leave the table feeling pleasantly full and happy.
