Dave turned up at really short notice, coming over on a bitterly cold Saturday morning, and did a great job. The chimney was incredibly dirty but he was fantastic at cleaning everything up after he was finished and was lovely to chat too. Would definitely recommend!

Dave had great communication with regards to booking and was accommodating for my timeframes. Once he arrived, he was extremely tidy with overshoes and dust sheets and thoroughly hoovered and cleaned the area and even the glass of the stove.Friendly, professional and overall a 10/10 service... I found Mr Chimney for you on the Guild of Chimney Sweepers website. Made an initial enquiry to which Dave was very quick to respond. Competitive pricing. So made an appointment for chimney to be swept. This is our first time after having log burner installed last winter. Dave arrived early, very professional and friendly manner. Clean and checks all carried out, advice given and Dave was happy to answer any questions I had. Sitting room left spotless. Certificate given to confirm inspection and clean. Easy payment by BACS transfer. Highly recommend!

Loads of reviews talk about Dave's service which must be amazing, but I wanted to highlight his willingness to help:I wanted to open my chimney so I requested Dave's chimney service and he came around. He let me know about some construction problems with my chimney pots, so I decided to first assess the value of rebuilding them (not Dave's job) before he could do his job.Although I told him that I didn't want the chimney sweep before knowing if it was worth fixing the problem, instead of just leaving he stayed to explain me what exactly I needed to ask for, who I needed to ask and then sent me more suggestions out of the blue over email of things I should consider ALL FOR FREE.Definitely someone that wants to do a good job. Definitely I'll consider him once I get the damn chimney pots done.
