The meals that we ordered were incredibly delicious. The portions were more than most could eat. We needed 2 take-home containers! I could easily eat here 2 to 3 times a week. They also do a great drive thru business. The only negative is that they serve can drinks, and therefore, there are no refills. The good thing is that the drinks are reasonably priced, as are the meals! I haven't had time to go back, but I'll be there soon.

Got the steak tacos and the steak tacos were nasty. The steak was hard & greasy. The tortillas were greased up and were wet with grease. Don't get me wrong, I love fatty foods. But the way the steak was made with the fatty hard steak with the greased up tacos looked so nasty I had only ONE bite of one. That's how nasty it was. Don't know, might of been a new cook??

My favorite place for tacos in Elgin. Make sure to ask for limes if you like that on your tacos. I recommend the green salsa.

I go for the loaded steak fries! Its super filling and it definitely will feed more than 1 person.

I moved out of state and EVERY time I come back here, I ALWAYS stop at El Paraiso. If you are looking for fantastic, flavorful, authentic Mexican cuisine come here. There is seating inside and a drive through. They are open late, which is clutch after a long night! I've ordered a steak burrito every time I go but they have so many options.

Killer breakfast burritos, great tacos con carne, just all around a great place to eat. I gave full stars for everything but service, as there have been times there it felt like employees would be happier if I wasn't there. Could 100% be my own misconceptions, and it still doesn't make me shy away from this place.If you haven't gone here yet, you really should. It's truly great.

Friday dinner. It was a happening place. What we didn't know was it was a sit down place with table service with a menu that appeared to have more to offer. We just didn't know. Everything we chose was done right and tasted just right. Salsa was good. Tacos too. Burrito was also quite tasty. In the future it might be a place to stop and pick up something to eat. Warning the drive thru appeared to be backed up. It also exits right onto busy McLean Blvd going south right under Hwy 20. Busy traffic area. I'm going to call ahead and go in and pick up our food, return and leave via the stop light for a safer trip home.

We always enjoy their taco dinner! It comes with 3 tacos choice of meat, refried beans and rice! We usually do drive through! Very authentic with lots of options to choose from. They are open late too!
