Messy services! they ask people with a ticket less than 24 hours to stay but they don’t check the tickets in the line! If you’re lucky enough you will be able to get your passport, otherwise forget it if u stay in the line for 10 hours and you have a flight less than 24 hours you will 100% get your passport! All by chance! After 10 hours staying in the line they asked all the people to leave because there is no capacity anymore and so many people lost their flight! Good luck

Excellent and friendly service. There is no need to make an appointment. I arrived around 8:30am. I was finished within 1 hour. Very well organized and well trained staff. I was told that I would receive my passport within 3 weeks.

After taking an appointment to get a certified copy of my passport. They kept my passport and asked me to come back 48 hours after to pick it up. Finally, after some convincing they offered to send my documents by registered mail.

Don’t let the bad reviews scare you. I went on a Tuesday morning 20mins past opening time and the whole process only took about an hour. Just picked up my passport after 2 weeks and only waited about 20mins for pick up. Show up with all your proper documents (forms already filled out), the proper form of payment and stay respectful and patient and you shouldn’t have any problems. Everyone was really nice.

For government-related tasks, you just know you have to wait. Luckily, for a walk-in to apply for a new passport, the process was well-organized and smooth at this location. Arrived at 8am on a Wednesday, office opened at 8:30am, and I left at 9am. 1 hour total is great in my book!

Very fast and friendly service. I arrived at 9:30 am on Thursday and didn’t have to wait to apply for a new passport. The staffs were very friendly and directed me to the passport agent who helped me complete my application and told me I would get my passport in 3 weeks.

Lined up at 10am on Sunday, slept on floor outside the Canadian government office like an animal. After screaming and scheming got passport at 330pm on Monday.I was third in line, but that didn't matter... security guards started making secret line ups upstairs... people that slept outside and waited for 20 hours in line were all skipped... most of us were flying the same day, but the secret line up that they start upstairs skips everyone who was waiting over night downstairs.if you want a passport this is what you gotta do1) have a ticket departing the same evening (if you don't have one, buy any ticket with air Canada and cancel it.. cancellation in 24 hour from purchase is fully refunded)2) come at 8-9am day of flight3) go upstairs into the secondary line they start form upstairs4) scream, beg, be loud, be seen5) security will give you a ticket if you're loud and desperate enough.I was 3rd in the line downstairs with the honest and naive people, but security let in at least 50 people from the secondary secret lineup before me. only way i was able to get in is by going upstairs and yelling at them and getting a ticket they security distributes.sometimes they call police but don't be intimidated, police understand and will not do anything if you're just screaming.Welcome to 2022 Canada! Also the government is lying - there is no giant surge in applications... they are processing 55% of the volume when you compare to pre pandemic years (2014-2018). So just a surge in incompetence not applications.Hope this helps someone!!!

Sharing my experience in the context of a crazy COVID passport renewal surge. For express renewal people start camping" outside at the entrance at 2 am (some even earlier). Around 5:30 doors open so people can continue waiting inside. The line was well organized until 7:30

I went Thursday morning around 9:30 and was out of there by 10:30, it’s very organized and there was no crazy line up. Just make sure to have everything filled out and all the documents.
