Rooms are clean, bar and views are amazing. If you have business on base this place is okay.. however, food quality and service has slipped. Hence the 3 rating.

We got married at the Wardroom and highly recommend this venue. The ceremony was on the patio in August and the reception inside followed with dinner and dancing. We had a DJ but, of course there were some guests who played the piano in the bar area and surprised us all with amazement. The venue is top notch and everyone was Very happy with the food. Megan was amazing at her job of making my wedding round out the best day of my life. The rest of the staff were amazing as well. Excellent venue.

CFB Esquimalt Wardroom
I've been on temporary deployment twice in 2015 and both times I stayed in the wardroom. It's run as a hotel. Clean rooms, private bathroom, cable television with the internet (both wired and wireless). Each day housekeeping freshens up your room. The galley on the main level is also clean, well run with friendly staff. Awesome view from the eating area. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that I find the doors to the rooms slam shut and can be loud and distracting at times from other guests coming in and out.

The hotel is average, but if you're lucky and get onto the right side of the building, the views are fantastic!The staff here went above and beyond to help me out during a tough time in my life. I will be forever grateful for what they did for me.
