Beautiful place, with parking, washrooms and picnic tables. A nice place to stop, rest and take a small hike along the trail or head into the visitor center. There's a small museum with information about the French River. Also a pathway to the bridge.

Haven't visited in over 12 years and it's still as beautiful and breathtaking as always.A great hike, and at the end of the trail there is a waterfall. The sound of the water, the scenery, very memorable and worth the drive.

Great spot to stop for a picnic, a rest stop, a museum visit or to view the French River from the snowmobile bridge. Out houses near parking/picnic area with flush toilets in the visitor centre. The Visitor Centre is closed in the winter.

Absolutely amazing and breathtaking. Great little hike in the forest. Looks easy on the map but it’s moderate so definitely bring proper shoes. Look out for rattle snakes. Saw 2 right on the trail

Great educational and informative stop or jumping point for some interior camping. Picnic tables available if you brought your lunch. The museum is just two dollars for visitors or 1 dollar for children and offers great insight into the indigenous people's life, as well as metis and early days if the fur trade. Covering everything from local wildlife to archaeology of the area, this little museum packs in a lot into a small space. Information center and gift shop also on site.

What a beautiful facility. Indigenous ceremony area. Both pot and flushing washrooms. Free parking. Museum is a small fee. Nice gift shop with some useful outdoor gear like waterproof maps, ropes, pocket knives, fire starter kits. The 1.5km trail to Recollet falls is beautiful and highly technical with roots steep rocky sections. Good rugged shoes are essential. Mostly uphill on way out to the falls. Took us about 35min to get out there.

We stopped in for a quick visit on our way down the highway. Lovely little museum and the bridge behind the visitor’s centre is a good alternative to seeing the sights if you can’t do a whole hike.

Great trail to the falls. Need to wear good shoes as the tree roots and rocks can be slippery when it's wet or damp. A lot of ups and downs in the terrain. The pedestrian bridge over the river is a great hike as well.

Unlike most visitors center with provincial parks there is a small fee. Museum is small and informative, lots of reading to get your moneys worth. Must see is the suspension snow mobile bridge/trail and highly recommend the hike to Collet Falls (bring a swim suit and wear good hiking shoes) all located walking distance from the center.

Great customer service,. Loved the adjacent museum to explore the history and geographic information about the area. There are a few trails to explore near the area. Neat and clean, and well-organized place.
