VIA Rail London

I recently waited for a bus to pick me up at the parking lot at VIA Rail London, and I was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and clean the location was. Despite being a busy transit hub, the area felt calm and well-maintained. The Onex bus arrived promptly, and I was able to board without any issues. I appreciated how smoothly everything ran at this location. Overall, if you're looking for a clean and calm transit location, I highly recommend VIA Rail London.

It’s a great little station considering it doesn’t see nearly the amount of traffic that some of the other stations in Ontario see. The business lounge is nothing, particularly special, but that’s not such a bad thing considering the size of the station. I’ve seen much worse. If I had any criticism of this train station, it would probably be the fact that they don’t really have anything set up for business class passengers to board in priority order. The physical set up of the boarding area of the station almost makes it awkward as a business class passenger to have to leave the lounge and walk past everyone, so usually, I just had to waiting in the back of the line.

Providing transportation to a few cities around like Toronto and Windsor, ...Small station but well-maintained, tickets are a little bit expensive!

I have travelled out of this station multiple times over the past 10 years and the service has always been great. The more recent renovations really improved the interior and exterior look of the building and added more comfortable seating space inside. Clean and accessible washrooms and lots of staff and security around to ensure timely flow and safety of passengers. I look forward to travelling again with VIA Rail in the future.

The seats in the new cars are really uncomfortable compared to the old ones. There's not as much padding, and the arm rests are weirdly low. Everything just feels cheaply made.The food isn't great, and it's overpriced. The sandwich bread is consistently dry, and I did hear one staff member agreeing with another passenger about it. I've taken the train from London to Kingston a few times now, and I haven't seen the cafès at either ever open.It's also a bit odd that if you have a connection in Toronto that you need to stay on the train for, that you can't stay in your seat, and need to move cars. I lost a personal item because of this, not realizing I had left it in the previous car before maintenance removed it.The one plus side is that the staff are generally very friendly and helpful.

Business class is well worth the money for the upgrade. Meal, drinks, comfier seats, a lot more room and on overall quieter ride.

Wasn't crowded when I got there. They were very helpful in the station for my first time going on the train. Conductors and stewards were very humorous and helpful on coach. Business plus was the way to travel home. Great hot food served. Would definitely travel by train again, especially by business if I can!!

VIA Rail in London, Ontario has a small yet efficient setup. Navigating the station was a breeze. Boarding was quick, and the platform layout is simple. Amenities were adequate, and the train ride itself was comfortable.

Easy to get to. You are wanting coffee and/or snacks for the journey you can either pur hade on the train or stop in somewhere before heading in. The cafe in station is gone.The staff are friendly and accommodating.

This was the most uncomfortable trip I have ever taken. It was freezing cold in the car. I had on pants and an extra sweater. (late June) Still cold. The seat was extremely hard and impossible to find any comfort sitting. Couldn't wait to get off the train. If you can find other means to travel, do it. Avoid VIA Rail.
