Mr Pickwick's Fish & Chips
We recently had dinner here at the recommendation of a friend. We had take-out, the prices are very reasonable, the food was excellent! The couple who operate this restaurant are very friendly. I live in South Surrey and I picked it up on the way home from work, I prefer the food here over C-lovers.

Mr Pickwick's Fish & Chips
This is my local fish and chip place. The fish is always excellent and that is what we come for. The price is excellent and the couple behind the counter are lovely. We do our own tartar sauce because it's yummiest but I love that I support local. Hopefully in future the chips and other sides will get better too

Mr Pickwick's Fish & Chips
Went here with my boyfriend and family. The service was great, everything was fast service. The portion of the fish we're huge! But the fries we're a bit disappointing. The fries just felt soggy for some reason, but the fish wasn't at all. The fish did its justice that's for sure! We even ordered two appetizers, calamari & popcorn Shirmp. The appetizers were also a lot. Definitely would recommend just sharing here if your coming here with your family.

Its a great place for take out. Really big food portions for the price you pay. The meal for 2 was enough to feed myself, my husband and brother. Fish was very good too. Will be going here again.

Mr Pickwick's Fish & Chips
Quality has gone down hill. Fish was hot and crispy but the fries were small and cooler than they should have been. Their fries used to be much bigger (thick cut) and fountain pop included refills. I saw the cook drop his tongs on the floor then proceed to pick them up and use them. I won’t be returning after seeing this. The restaurant could really use a good cleaning, fresh coat of paint.

We went to this restaurant thinking that it was part of another Mr pickwick's fish and chips that used to be located in Vancouver. Well it turned out that it had nothing to do with that fabulous restaurant that used to be downtown Vancouver.What is here is a restaurant that's looked after, I don't know if it's the owner that we encountered when we entered the restaurant, or if it was somebody that was working there. Either way that person showed he would rather be somewhere else other than frying fish and chips.The two portions of fish were quite generous, the portion of fries was quite small. The fish was definitely Frozen, not fresh, it didn't have a white cooked flaky texture either.No lemon was served on either of the two plates we had ordered. The glass of water had an off have to taste. When I asked for a glass or a straw for my wife's can of Sprite, I was advised that neither was available. And that I should understand this.I'll not go there again.

Mr Pickwick's Fish & Chips
We went there for dinner tonight. HUGE portions for the cod. My mom had the snapper. I wasn't a big fan of the fries but my mom and sister liked them a lot. I prefer crispier fries though. Mind you I couldn't have eaten many fries because the 2 pieces of cod are so big I was stuffed. We went early so we had the place to ourself other than some take out orders getting picked up. Clean interior, friendly staff. I want to try the Captain's plate next time. If you aren't huge eaters a dinner for 2 would feed 3 people. Now back to my food coma.

Sticky floors? Check. Sticky tables? Check. Large portions? Sure! Quality? What quality?Please let this place die silently and quickly. The fish had chewy batter, had fish bones, and was not flaky or moist whatsoever.Some greasy places serve great food. This restaurant had just greasy furniture and floors if you're into that kind of thing. I felt bad for the soles of my shoes after stepping into there.As a matter of fact I blame myself for thinking it was going be ok eating here. So zero stars for my choice to come here but atleast you reading this offers a glimmer of hope to just let these type of businesses quietly disappear.
