My children have attended Lions Park Montessori from the age of 18 months until Kindergarten. Between the two kids, we have been with this school for close to 7 years now. What a beautiful learning and growth journey for both of my children. I don't even know where to start - the school has helped us as parents understand the true principles of Montessori teaching and development, to the extend that we used the same practices at home. Our children have grown to be mindful, thoughtful, independent, smart, practical, and happy kids being under the Lions Park Montessori roof from 18 months till kindergarten. The foundation that this school has given our children will be an important part of their lives growing up to be confident and happy young adults. There was not a time when we picked up our kids and were not wowed by how clean and tidy they kept the school facilities. When Covid-19 hit back in March 2020, the school pivoted quickly and implemented great safety measures to protect children and staff from Covid-19 before reopening once public health restrictions were lifted. The teachers are always friendly and speak to children/treat children with respect which builds strong, lasting and trustworthy relationships between children and staff. The school works with parents as true partners when they notice challenges or issues in child's behavior. This is so important because it establishes a unified way to address any behavioral issues.Leaving this program my older child was doing grade 2 math and English before even starting Kindergarten and the younger one is on the same path. The curriculum at Lions Park is very balanced which sets children up for success. It is worth every penny and would 100% recommend this school to anyone!

I would give this place 10 starts if it was an option. I am extremely grateful to all the staff at LPMS for their hard work and dedication. When I chose this school I didn't read the reviews because a friend of mine had her boy in here at that time. She gave me amazing feedback and I trusted her more than any strangers on Google. I am glad I did! My daughter attended this school for 2 years (September 2019 to August 2021). The staff goes above and beyond on a daily base. When Covid hit and the world shut down they provided us with Zoom classes to keep children connected and to help them navigate through this challenging times (free of charge). Among all my friend with kids in day care none of them had anything similar offered (their preschools simply shut down). So that is called simply business. No money paid no service offered. The only reason I bring this up is because some reviews here mentioned that LPMS cares only for money and that is far from being true. When the school reopened June 2020, Ms Annar contacted me over the phone and asked me how am I doing financially and whether I need some help with tuition (she knew I was laid off due to COVID). She was willing to work something out for me. That was extremely touching. I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me and my child. I could go on and write about so many wonderful moment regarding our experience with LPMS. But will conclude with this nothing is more important for a parent than to hear your child say mommy I am so excited to go to school and hug my teacher and see all my friends". And that's exactly what I heard from my child over and over again while she attended Lions Park Montessori.PS There is a reason why people commute from Port Moody

Happy New Year to all the amazing and hard working teachers and administrator at Lions Park Montessori School. We are so grateful that our son has been part of the community with incredible teachers like Ms. Anna and Ms. Viviane. The degree of independence that has been fostered here was nothing less than exceptional. My son is capable of initiating learning in this well-prepared learning environment with teachers’ support and mentoring. Lastly, thank you very much for doing the best to keep the school clean and children safe during this difficult time.

I absolutely love this school and have been sending my son there for the past 2 years. I have noticed his growth and progression in every area of his development. He is now graduating and I have enrolled our daughter for this September. What I really appreciate as a parent is daily updates both written and pictures. The school is very communicative and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The Program Director Annar is very organized, professional and compassionate. She truly cares about the children and her staff. The teachers are excellent and are so loving. They are inclusive, compassionate, kind, encouraging and passionate about children. Everyone at LPMS goes the extra mile for the children and the parents. I am so grateful we have found a school which aligns with our philosophies and values as conscious parents. I feel blessed that our children have such a wonderful start to their education. Thank you LPMS for all you do!

I am an immigrant and where I come from, teachers hug their children when needed. They look into their eyes, listen to them and respect them.I’ve always heard that in other countries it might be different and that used to make me scared of not finding a place for my own daughter. A place where she would be heard. That’s when I found LPMS and started to work here as an ECEA. Not only did I work, but also started bringing my child with me every day.At first, I was amazed with the Montessori method, how children become independent and autonomous. Then I realized how much they care for hygiene here. I had never seen such care and organization in my 15 years career. And do you want to know what else happens here ? Respect. I see all the children, including mine, being respected, heard and cherished.Ms Annar demands a high quality team and does not give it up.This is definitely the place where I would like to see my daughter growing up and building her experiences.Thank you LPMS team, for bringing me so much to learn and for helping so many kids to become the better version of themselves.

Our daughter has attended LPMS for two years. In that time we have been consistently pleased with the level of professionalism, cleanliness, and superior quality of education and care. Especially during the pandemic, we continue to trust in our family's health and safety because of the way this school is run. They follow protocols to a T with no loss of warmth or care for the children. Our daughter is thriving, loves her school experience, and will be very well prepared for Kindergarten.

I do not recommend to anyone! After the initial tour, they told us that they would “accept” our application but their only concern is that my 17 months old toddler had mobility growth issue and needs to strengthen his lower body because he cannot walk independently and cannot hold their trays while walking! As a claimed “great” Montessori , we would have expected more knowledgeable and less judgmental staff to understand that each kid grows at different paste and nothing is wrong with a 17 months old to walk with a little help! Not to mention that the start date was 3 months away!! 2 days after the tour my toddler started walking on his own.I don’t have any problem with transparency regarding their programs, but the way that they judge and word it out is very unprofessional! We were really excited to enrol our son in this centre but I am glad we made the decision not to. My boy is very happy, active and loves to play with different toys so this place wouldnt have been suited for him anyways based on our observation during the tour!

We loved our experience at LPMS. Our little one attended for almost 3 years and learned many wonderful things, including literacy and numeracy skills, as well as every day life skills such as simple flower arrangements and cleaning/taking care of their surroundings. We were impressed with many of the different programs they offered within the school as well (dance, French, Mandarin), and always enjoyed the parent activities (Winter concerts, graduation celebrations, Mother's Day tea). The school is always neat and tidy and the teachers are friendly and caring. Ms. Annar always took the time to hear our concerns and made our whole family feel welcome. Our little one learned lots from the Montessori approach, but having awesome teachers helped too!

I trust this school with my kid and love their practices. LPMS was recommended by one of our relatives and we are grateful to have found this gem. As parents, we are relieved of some pressure by watching how well the teachers takes care of our kid by understanding how our kid thinks and processes the environment.I can only think of Pros: Prompt responses to any issues, open communication, regular parent teacher meetings to address concerns, outdoor, art and dance activities and even sharing photos and moments with us on daily basis makes us feel we are close to our kid.I can see our little one's growth and developmentand it's not even two months since we enrolled him in. Highly recommended !Thanks Miss. Annar and the entire team for having such a good system in place.

We initially contacted Annar on April 9th to admit our 18 month toddler for full-time care as my wife was in her second trimester with our second baby. We scheduled a virtual tour on April 30th, where we were told that they would have a spot open on July 5th, but she would like to have a meet and greet with our son first. We had a meet and greet on May 21st. At the meet and greet Mrs. Farzy confirmed that a spot would be open in middle of July. We requested an application form. 3 days later Annar called back saying that she is having staffing issues and she would have to train new staff so she would have have a better idea in June and the admission would have to be postponed to August or September. In the same conversation she mentioned she would have to check the wait list for other kids that may be ahead in line. This was never mentioned in the first two conversations. We contacted her in June and we received an email stating there were a few other kids in line ahead of our son and she won't be able to admit him.We were really keen on our son attending Lions Park Montessori and we were lead to believe that we would have a spot in July so we passed on couple of other schools that had spots available. Thanks to Annar's unprofessionalism we are left with no options with a second baby coming in the end of July. She apologized, but that doesn't solve our problem. After reading some other reviews on Google where parents claim that Annar does not like Active kids, I suspect that they realized that my son is active during the meet and greet and didn't want him.
