Our Last Hope Animal Rescue Society

Wonderful experience dealing with this animal rescue! We got the cutest chihuahua puppy in great health with lots of bonuses included in our adoption fee like his neutering etc. Very happy with our experience and finding our new family member. Prompt honest communication as well. Great rescue!

Jeneane and her staff are amazing! I read Joey's bio on Facebook and knew he was the right fit for us. Met him and fell in love with him. My husband just loves him and Joey him. He is the most amazing little dog quiet, gentle and so loving. We are so happy that Joey is a part of our family. He loves his truck rides! Thank you Jeneane and Our Last Hope Animal Rescue.

Thanks to OLHR we found our newest family member and best buddy. The application process was straightforward and Jeneane was quick to respond to all our questions. OLHR facilitated a positive introduction for Alfredo and our entire family (kids included), which eased his transition to our home. The adoption fee was more than reasonable and our puppy came with all the essentials including food/treats, leash/collar and all required age appropriate medical treatment (vaccination/neuter etc). I would highly recommend OHLR to anyone looking for a positive rescue/adoption experience.

We had recently lost one of our dogs to cancer, and were looking for another dog to join our home. Our Last Hope Animal Rescue Society had this little guy, PJ, available. we knew we had the right home for him, so did the rescue. You see, a previous attempt to adopt him out failed, the rescue was very careful about whom and where he could next be adopted. With many conversations we determined, PJ would fit here. Personally, I am involved with another rescue, however due to COVID, decided to adopt closer to home. OLH was very generous with their time, and adoption fees only collected after you know the right home is yours. As a person involved in rescue, I know it is a monumental effort to contact everyone, volunteers can only reach out to so many people. The right people don't give up, they send in an application and follow it up. Those writing bad reviews for lack of communication don't understand the amount of work and effort rescue requires...and it is mostly by volunteers and requires donations to to pay vet bills. OLH is outstanding in my opinion.

We adopted Chico from Our Last Hope 3 years ago. It was an awesome experience, we took our older boy along to the meet and greet and Oscar picked Chico as his furever friend. We were notified quickly as a possible home. We were also given time for both boys to adjust. From day one we have been extremely happy and will definitely recommendOur Last Hope to anyone looking to adopt

Thanks to Our Last Hope I met my best friend. The application was super easy and straightforward. The first meeting with my new furry friend was a life changing experience thanks to the lady that introduced us. The adoption fee was more than reasonable. We adopted our baby boy from OLHAR in 2012, after we had graduated from college and started our new lives into adulthood. The rescue was responsive and professional. We even contacted them throughout Ramzi’s (our dog) time with us. We loved him so much and are forever grateful that we got to be his forever home. They really do try their best, but I think during current pandemic times with more applications for fostering, adopting, travel restrictions, etc AND living their own lives, things are probably hectic! We will never forget Ramzi and the honor OLHAR gave to us to be his guardians!! He was my best friend throughout grad school, my first home purchase, a big brother to our second dog, and hiking partner. I will never forget him.

This is such a great place to adopt a dog .They have a very straight forward application and the fee is fair considering the area. We adopted Piper (now Miley) a few weeks ago and we love her to bits.. she is a great addition to our family
