BMO Bank of Montreal

Forced to leave one star but you deserve none.Not only are the tellers rude and have made condescending remarks to me in the past, a client of BMO for 50 years, now you go and lock vestibule access at noon on a Saturday so that not only myself but two women older than myself as well as 2 other clients while I was there, are forced to use the drive through ATM and neither of those two women even had a car but instead use public transport!What is wrong with you? Do not limit access to your ATM's. This is a disgrace and you should be ashamed of yourselves for doing it!

After using this bank for over 5 years doing cash for cashed exchanges at this branch, I was rudely told by the staff member at the counter that she wouldn't help me because I don't have an account at this branch. I explained that they had been helping us for years and that it was weird that they suddenly wouldn't. She said she would help me this time"

I wish I could give zero or negative!! So I had a mortgage advisor appointment with “Stephen” who was worse mortgage advisor I have ever met. The way he behaved was as if he was not at all interested in talking to us. When asked for current interest rate all he said was it will be around 2%. Yeah thanks BMO even google told me that. Instead of doing calculations that was the best answer he had. We booked an appointment to apply for mortgage but instead giving us the current rate or at least showing us different opinions all he did was answered in yes or no and we were out of there in 5 mins because he was clearly not interested in doing business with us. On phone i was told to take my paystub and other related documents and he did not even ask for them or bother to take a look. Also we asked for refinancing out current home mortgage and all he said there will be a penalty. We already knew that, but we went to him to know the exact amount and other options, but again he did not bother in doing those calculations either!!! Thank for this BMO now I know never to do any business with you.

It is horrific knowing that this team of people have access to clients money, and would give out advices to people in regards to their finances. From the tellers to it's branch manager, there is absolutely no professionalism nor a shred of knowledge in regards to banking, personal finances or common sense. It pains me to know that there are inadequate financial service providers like these ones playing games with clients financial well-being.

Although I am new to this bank and had a hassle of having to go in and sort out an unidentified charge to my account from some online thing (wouldve been more convenient if it could have been done over the phone like TD Canada Trust offers but the lady in who helped me honestly took what very well could be listed as a 1-2 star experience to a 5 star just by being so competent, compassionate, caring and considerate! You are absolutely amazingly and I'm thankful to have had your help that day. Should be more like her!

Noon on a Saturday and can't use the ATM because they lock customers out. Whatever happened to accessing bank lobbies with your debit card after hours?

I have tried to talk to someone at my branch but cannot talk to them or leave a message as their message file is full.I called the main BMO number and got a recording that the wait time was between 3 and 4 hours. Customer service?? Not at BMO.And they are increasing fees.Like

There are not many Bank of Montreal's around London Ontario. There drive-thru ATM never works, and if it is not in business hours, they lock the doors to the indoor ATM! I have racked up tons of money in ATM fees that I shouldn't have had to. Not to mention that their service is terrible when you go inside. I just had another transaction that was absolutely ridiculous today, and I am withdrawing all money from their bank. I will never recommend them to anyone ever.... by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with! There is no way I am investing my money with them and I am pulling it all out and transferring it to another bank.

Well, I will go ahead and give a 5 star for the wonderful customer service I’ve received at this branch. The lady took care of my account promptly and was very professional at all time. I had to take our kids with me and they just loved how she greeted and treated them. I can tell this branch is now doing a great job giving an exceptional customer service.
