Lucky Deli

This is a review from “guy eating his way through the Vietnamese restaurants in the Lower Mainland”.I’m so glad I stumbled upon this deli tucked away in the market.This is a sandwich and drink shop located inside Lucky Supermarket.They serve very well-priced Banh Mis and delicious looking drinks.This was my first time here and I ordered the Roast Pork Bahn Mi and it was super good. The roast pork was juicy and generously portioned. Lots of fresh veggies and the bread was soft but crispy on the outside.They sell some other items as well such as desserts and other baked goods.I am definitely going to try another Bahn mi next time.2nd Visit Update:The Dac Biet (special #1) is delicious. It’s 50 cents more than #2 but the added bacon is totally worth it. Add on a iced coffee for only $3!

The cold cut banh mi was really good and the cold coffee was delicious. The only thing that bothers me is that the supermarket smells. It smells stinky and sour. It’s not he deli’s fault. But it’s unavoidable when you sit down and try and enjoy your delicious banh mi.I plan to come back here very soon. Will repost if it doesn’t smell anymore.
