Stamp Concrete

Not good at all with communication or servicing customer needs. Contracted this outfit to install a concrete foundation for an addition to my home. Started off really well. They talk impressively to get the contract but that is where it ends. Prior to starting the dig I found out that my regular homeowner insurance will not cover my property during a renovation. No big deal, my insurance broker just needed four questions answered to get me a policy for the renovation. 1, how long in business, 2, do they carry General Contractor Liability, 3 did they have any losses and a list of recent similar work. This is where it went south. Over a period of three weeks they ignored multipal phone calls, didn't respond to text or e-mail. Their webpage does not list an address but Google Maps had them located in Pickering ON. I went to the address just to find that the lot was plowed under two yeas ago and an apartment building was under construction. So they didn't even bother to update they web. Too many red flags at this point so I ended the contract. This has now delayed my job and all the other trades lined up to complete the install. Also the work was to start mid May. That date went by during the time they were ignoring the request for insurance information.

I chose this company after getting about 5 quotes on my driveway, although they were not the cheapest they had better ideas than the others. i did the quote with Paul and most of what we spoke about he kept it to himself he never communicated it with Joe.After they dug up my driveway i was unable to use it for 2 months, when they came to pour they were rushing to get the boards in because the concrete was on the way. they were suppose to pour a small retaining wall on the edge of the driveway which they did not do. they also did not pour my step for my side entrance (see pic below) Joe said he will come back and install a stone stair but he did not. I have been calling and texting Joe and Paul for weeks with no answer or reply for weeks.The workers are great guys but thats the best i can say about this company, please save yourself the headache and do not use these guys once they were paid you will never hear from them again. looks like i have to do my step on my own now.

I had a back yard patio poured by this person almost 2 years ago. I really don't have much positive to review. The color wasn't what we asked for. The stamp pattern we picked with Paul from their catalog wasn't available. They apparently only have 6 stamp patterns and they will only tell you that after they have ripped up your yard and have your money. They workers and the owner swore constantly within earshot of my children and neighbors. I do not recommend Joe and Paul. I wish that there was a 0 star option.

I had a driveway, walkway and backyard patio done by Stamp Concrete this past year, and I would like to put it out there that everything has maintained it's look as in no cracks or shifts. I was very pleased with the finished job!Also, the workers were very respectful, honest and did what they could to ensure we, as the home owners, we're satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any work done to the outside or inside of their home!

I’ve hesitated posting a review, but after multiple attempts to get my job completed have gone ignored I have to share my experience where I can. For the 80% that was completed the job looks great and if you do hire them and get a finished product you’ll be giving 5 stars. Unfortunately for me once payment was made in full (even when it was collected and we confirmed what still needed to be done) the crew never returned. I messaged the Sales Rep Paul and he apologized and said there were booking challenges due to weather. Weeks passed nothing. Called repeatedly and finally got hold of Joe, he said he will come by and see the unfinished work and the waste his crew left behind, he never showed. I’ve called and emailed and no response. New season I’ve tried again to get the work completed and pay for the sealing plan and still no response. I’m left with an unfinished back patio and front step and all I can do is share my experience and advise to hold back on the final payment until you get 100% completion otherwise you may never hear from them again.UPDATE: I’ve gotten a response and my job has been completed. The work that was done before looked good but now that it is completed and sealed it looks great. I’m updating from 3 stars to 4 for the quality, but having to chase for a year I can’t add the 5th star.

We had the front and back patios in our home done after moving into a new construction home. The service was professional, the team was knowledgeable, and the finished results look excellent! We couldn't be more pleased. I don't know how anyone could have a bad thing to say about the workmanship of this crew. Highly recommend!

The team at Stamp Concrete performed 2 projects for us recently. Despite the COVID restrictions, Joe and the team managed to get the job done on time and budget (I was not charged a surplus even though some of the landscaping materials had increased in price). I have had many compliments about the work and it has increased my property value.

Dave and Joe were our contractors for our Stamped concrete project. They have a policy to have all of their payments by the time the concrete is poured. However after the based concrete is poured they did not return to finish the job. They have very poor customer services and fail to return call or email after they receive the final payment.I would not recommend the company to anyone, we were very disappointed with the service. The work has chips in it days later and they have not return any calls or have not showed any interest in rectifying the problem.

We had our driveway done three years ago, as well as a cover-layer over existing concrete stairs and landing. The team at Stamp Concrete did a fantastic job. They were efficient and professional getting the job done; the work has held up flawlessly and looks fantastic.
