First visit to Escape Rentals and will definitely return. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The kayaks are in really decent shape for a rental place and the prices are reasonable too. Most importantly, the views and location are unbeatable.

I recently visited Locations Escape and I had an amazing experience! We rented 2 double kayak and 6 single kayak that was really fun for our group of friends, and the view of parliament hill was just wonderful. I want to thank Grant and Francis for their excellent costumer service, They were friendly, helpful, Their attention to assist in any way possible truly made our experience memorable. I highly recommend going to Locations Escape, and I especially commend Grant and Francis for their outstanding service. Thank you for an amazing adventure

Not recommended, didn’t have the right size PFDs, no safety instructions, no emergency kit provided. Given the fee charged for the rentals, it’s not worth it.Update: Appreciate your response, as majority vendors don’t bother replying to bad reviews. The feedback is provided in the same manner as the service was provided on ground. It may sound harsh, but it’s an honest feedback.Safety kit: My brother and his family were on the kayaks first and they didn’t have an emergency kit provided which I found out later when I boarded the same kayak and found it missing.PFD: First the person there on duty gave us random inaccurate sizes and when I asked for the required size, he didn’t have it and gave us a so called “universal size” which was clearly not a good fit.Safety instructions: I am not sure if the staff on duty was new or not, but safety was definitely not the priority. We have been to other kayaking places and can tell the difference in quality of service, especially the consideration given to safety.We should commend businesses that serve community despite of ongoing challenges, if there’s a new staff it should not compromise the safety of customers and should paired up with more experienced staff. We have been to three other places this season for Kayaking and I believe those businesses will be experiencing similar challenges being in the same domain but we didn’t notice any shortcomings on the safety front at those places.

Amazing! We had a really nice time kayaking across the river. It was one of the first time I visited ottawa and this experience gave me an amazing view of both ottawa and gatineau and the interprovincial bridge dividing them! The tandem kayaks were in very good shape and the staff was very funny and nice!

Excellent location and easy to find. You can paddle on Ottawa River and see Parliament Hill and History Museum. Very scenic site! And you can make a reservation online which makes sure that you can get your gear on a busy weekend! Strongly recommended to check out this location and have a fun journey with your friends!
