Frank’s Pizza House
My friend and I decided to try Franks for the first time and unfortunately it did not live up to its expectations. I got calamari to share and it was very bland and chewy and was only rings, I do not recommend. My pal got a calzone and she it tasted doughy. I did get a pizza as well and it was decent. So definitely stick to pizza if your wanting to eat here.

We’ve lived in the neighbourhood for five years, but never got around to trying Frank’s Pizza house until now, given the numerous pizza options in the area. We ordered an extra large pizza and a fried panzerotti for delivery. Both were excellent. The pizza wasn’t too greasy or salty and I really enjoyed the crust. The panzerotti was very filling given all that bread and cheese so I’m glad that we split it. However, we were surprised at how much our order cost especially given the “gourmet” toppings for the extra large pizza like caramelized onions and sausage were $4 each. It really adds up when you include a few toppings.Overall, a good experience and we look forward to trying the baked panzerotti.

Absolutely loved my experience at Frank's! The pizza was delicious and you can really see that they are passionate about making delicious food. It really comes across in the food. I would highly recommend them to all that are looking for a good panzo and pizza in Toronto.

Solid, friendly, classic Pizza place.Never been disappointment with my Pizza from Frank's. Ingredients are always fresh and tasty and you must try the fried Panzarotti (possibly the best in the city).Great friendly service every time I pick up. Just don't forget my dipping sauce ;)

Frank’s pizza is an amazing place to go for your pizza cravings. It’s a family owned restaurant serving freshly baked pizza, pasta and fresh salads. They use all fresh and good quality ingredients such as cheese, meats and veggies. Their service is as good as the pizza they serve. Highly recommend this place!

Dropped in for dinner with a friend and had the pleasure of meeting the owner - an extraordinary gentleman who was very passionate about what he does. Ordered the Margherita pizza which was absolutely amazing, the fresh basil he plucked and put on the already amazing pizza (the dough, sauce and cheese were all on point) just elevated it to the next level. Definitely in the top 3 pizza places I've been to in Toronto, would drop in again whenever I'm in the area.

Saw this place on a blog rating the best pizza in Toronto but I wouldn't agree. I gave one star for friendly, clean service and the patio concept for ordering curbside. My experience however wasn't the best. When I got here there were two other customers ahead of us and the gentleman serving was sitting at the back on a high chair and could see this through the open window. It would be nice if he acknowledged the customers waiting. There is a sign on the front door saying to knock on the patio door but clearly no one saw it or knew what to do. I eventually noticed the sign and knocked and then the two customers in front of me and I were served. The food wasn't the greatest. We ordered a three topping veggie calzone and two slices of cheese pizza with garlic dipping sauce. Total was $25. The server served the two slices of pizza and went back to get the rest of the order but didn't give us the dipping sauce for the pizza. Then we noticed one of the slices had a strip of pepperoni on it :( so we had to wait to get it cut off. So, part of the slice got sliced off making it a smaller slice and the pizza got cold by this point. They didn't acknowledge this at all so I ate a cold pizza and didn't get a full slice. Didn't enjoy it that much and the crust had a lot of hollow parts. I didn't have the calzone but was told it tasted undercooked and the marinara sauce was very watery with a plain taste. The garlic dipping sauce was the best part of the whole experience.

Kid and wife enjoyed so need to give it 4 stars.Maybe I am getting old but found the sauce a bit too salty and I can imagine the fried panzo being amazing but found the crust more tough than chewy. Finally the pricing is good for a party sized pizza.

Got the Magherita pizza and the calzone with black olives, hot peppers and mushrooms with the salsa. The Magherita pizza looked like it came with very little basil but the fresh basil leaves were very strong that it’s essence could be felt throughout the pizza. In fact, the basil leaves are plucked fresh from the plant that they keep by the kitchen. I also loved the crust of the pizza which was crispy although not too thin and floppy, the kind of pizza that I was craving at the material time. 7.3/10 for the pizza. As for the calzone, the pastry itself was crispy and not too thick like the other calzones that I have had till date. Stuffed with fresh ingredients and paired with their homemade salsa, there was a whole new elevation of fresh tasting flavours that made me give this dish a very solid 7.8/10.As for the tiramisu, I have had many better tiramisus elsewhere especially when the price is taken into consideration. However, I do not wish to fault them because their speciality is anywhere the pizzas as obvious by the establishment’s name and the tiramisu was done just alright to complement the dining experience as a dessert. As recommended by the owner himself, I will be back to try the panzerottis next and perhaps the pizza with other toppings too. The price was very reasonable for all that we ate whereby it was below $20/person including the dessert.
