Refuge faunique Marguerite-D'Youville

This place is perfect for those who likes long walks! It is beyond beautiful especially if you go during beginning summer. It took us about 3 hours of walking (we walked quite fast since we thought of more like a workout)It is worth the visit!

This is a great out of the way refuge that seems to be well known by the locals. It is a great place to go for a hike, and bird watching. It is great for kids as well. They have a small environmental center and a self guided Ecco tour. In season I believe you can rent kayaks. The hotel on the island is basic but affordable.

A nature heaven close to Montreal. Be aware that for protecting the wildlife you cannot enter with your dog.

Such a nice place. I celebrated my 30s birthday here in October, the colors were amazing.

Great natural reserve beside the St-Laurent River. Great to visit with kids, family or friends.We saw a fox, a snake and a beaver.

Very clean park. We did not see a single piece of rubbish on the trail, weird for Quebec so thank you for up keeping this place. Very easy walk with lots to see. Loads of grass snakes this morning. The restaurant on site is brilliant. Staff were very helpful and to coffee and eats were fresh and delicious.

Parking attendant was incredibly rude. We realized the place didn't allow for dogs once we got there. Our bad, but we had driven all the way there so we decided to take the bridge and go walk on the other side. As we were LEAVING the parking lot on foot, the attendant ORDERED us to get in our car to leave entirely. He was super rude, and I reminded him that we were leaving. He threatened to call the cops. Ya, he threatened to have the cops called on us for something as innocuous as leaving and following the rules. Honestly the rudest interaction I've ever had at a park premise. Also, I really wonder is this guy threatens everyone to have the cops called on them, if you catch my drift.

Wonderful place for walking and picnic! I was in late October -great view, but was in the end of colors! So couldn't imagine what a nice place for observing the Fall colors! Perfect for family picnic or solitary hangout. Highly recommended for birds lovers.

Beautiful trail with lots of wildlife. No one was there to verify that our tickets were purchased though…

One of the most amazing places to chill, rest and disconnect a bit.Very nice and calm area .. very clean and the walk on the shore is for free.Highly recommend the area if you want to disconnect a bit.
