My experience at the 109 Street and 72 Avenue Breast Centre and Diagnostic Imaging Centre was amazing today. I was there for a bone density test, but they were able to fit me in for a mammogram as well. Julie, who did the bone density test was so kind and helpful, as was Ashley, who did the mammogram. The person who helped me at the front desk was also very pleasant and patient. The whole clinic feels very friendly and welcoming and it is very clean and spacious as well. I would highly recommend this location in Edmonton if you need to go for diagnostic imaging tests.

I usually don’t write reviews but their exceptional service deserves a shoutout. I took my handicapped mom to this place and my whole experience was amazing. I was a little overwhelmed when I arrived but they did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. Diane made sure all of her staff knows about my mother’s condition and went above and beyond to help her out. Sara at the front desk was really nice and friendly. Technician Ashley is very kind and did an amazing job wile doing my mom’s ultrasound and was really patient with her. She made her feel really comfortable even when she wasn’t feeling well. She pointed us in a right direction and made sure Diane knows what works best for us. The following week I got a requisition for my dad’s ultrasound for a different imaging centre but I returned to this location because of my first experience. Brittany was really nice and kind. She was really patient with my dad and communicated with him really nicely. My dad said that he never had this amazing experience before and he really liked Brittany’s professionalism and kindness.

I went for a biopsy and my experience was much better than I expected. First of all the technologist (Tessa) walked me through the whole process and explained the procedure step by step and showed me what will happen and explained how it might feel. Then Dr.Phu came in and explained a few other points and she was telling me everything before doing it to help me be ready.Tessa comforted me a lot before and during the biopsy and calmed me down. Dr.Phu has such magical hands! I didnt feel the needle for freezing the area nor the biopsy needle. I’m so glad I had the biopsy at this center!There was a mammogram done after the biopsy and i was told it shouldn’t be pressing much on my breast since i just had a biopsy, however the mammogram technologist applied a lot of pressure and didn’t stop when I said it hurt a lot! It started bleeding and bled the following day. That is my only take on the whole experience

One rude reception staff but really nice technicians.We arrived for an appointment on the dot due to bad roads and not 15 mins earlier as we hoped to.The reception rudely told us to not make it late next time and handed out the forms.Bad experience. They should be more considerate.The nurses are very kind and polite.Knowledge shines i guess.

The staff performing the biopsies are so considerate and kind! They really put you at ease. I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else.

I had Britney conduct my scans and she was the best Tech I have had. She was patient, kind and explained every step she was taking. Overall the staff were friendly, welcoming and the space was clean.

I came in for a breast biopsy yesterday and was so nervous. As soon as I got in and met with the tech, she immediately put me at ease. She explained the procedure to me in detail and answered all of my questions. The doctor was very kind and told me everything she was doing before she did it so I wouldn't be caught off guard at any point. I had a less than stellar experience with the radiologist who referred me from another clinic, so I had been really worried but found I didnt need to be. The procedure isn't exactly fun but the doctor and tech made me feel so comfortable that I almost forgot what I was there for.

I highly recommend this facility and applaud them for their safety focus. Masking still in place and precautions include nobody but patients on the premises. They recognize the vulnerable client base that must attend for appointments and that protections aren’t just due to an imaginary condition. For some, even a common “old timey” cold could be fatal.Colleen was a super gal. She put a smile on my face to see her skilled manoeuvring of that massive machine on top of her wonderful personality.You can tell they care. Makes a difference.

This was my second visit today May 9, 2023 and the experience was considerably different. I was told I was going to be the biggest challenge of this techs day due to my breast size. Very stressful appointment and left feeling tired and sore.
