I love this place very much, because every time I come back here to my childhood. If you have children, be sure to make a stop at this historic site and tell them about the little bear cub and his true homeland.

Very cute little place to stop and think about our childhood friend Winnie. My dog did not want his photo taken with Winnie. But he got to enjoy it briefly before I took him over to the dog safe area they provide. It has a nice park for kids. Very clean and well kept area. A nice spot to stop for a break.Free to enter. The visitors center was closed when we went unfortunately due to Canada Day.

This is a great place to stop by to take a break. On a cycling trip across Canada, the rest area behind the park is a perfect spot to take some rest. There's picnic tables, a gazebo and a toilet. There's lots of food options around. All trucks stop in this town to refill, but it's not too noisy.

Nice tribute to the contribution of this place to the story of Winnie the Pooh. This is right off the highway and can be seen without difficulty. There is no admission fees and can easily be walked up to.

There's not much to say here that isn't immediately obvious.It's a great Memorial to Winnie the Pooh and an amazing history that I'm certain 99% of people don't know about. The town council has fone well in this park with creating and maintaining a very nice park and rest area when people csn learn that the beloved Pooh Bear came from White River, Ontario.If you're traveling along highway 17, do take the time to stop here and visit this place, grab some lunch and relax for a few minutes.

Very interesting story behind Pooh Bear! Unfortunately the Visitor's Center was closed but we were still able to read the plaques & see the statue - great!

Winnie the Pooh Memorial
What a lovely place to stop and have a picnic. There are plenty of tables or lay a blanket down in the sift grass. There is a wonderful play ground for the kids to play and burn some energy! You can't forget the iconic Pooh that has the most beautiful flower garden. It's a tradition for us to stop everytime we drive by.
