We started thinking about renovating our home a year and a half ago. We planned to change kitchen cupboards, the floor, convert our wood burning fireplace to gas, and paint. Early in the process, Joel stood on the main floor in the middle of our house, looked upwards, and said If you removed the walls under the upstairs you would transform your house". And we did. With Joel's innovative thinking and the help of a designer our home was dramatically upgraded beyond anything we would have ever conceived ourselves.
