This is a great place to enjoy nature and have a little picnic. The scenery is just fantastic, and the place to discover are infinite. The waterfalls at this location are fun to watch, and one could meditate here with ease.There are lots of free parking spots as well, which facilitate one more reason to visit this place.

A gem in our community. We visited to watch our grandson run a cross country. This is a super nice park. I plan to visit a few times next year. Besides.... it's close to the casino .... if you can't get the bar b q going you can always spend some time gambling.

Shady Acres Picnic Grounds
Ran the Tough Mudder challenge here. I also discovered a beautiful place that I drove past for decades. I will definitely be visiting again in a few weeks when the leaves change colours and next summer. Awesome place to chill and escape the city.
