I wouldn't even give it 1 star. I had a protection plan on my old galaxy s8. I was told in store that the contract was a 2 year contract and I would get charged monthly. For the past 5-6 months I was still getting charged monthly even though I haven't had the phone for months and when I looked on my geeksquad account 5 or 6 months ago the plan was no longer showing up on the account so I assumed it had run out as I was told it was a 2 year plan. I received and email from them saying I owed money and I assumed it was for the plan on my lap top so I paid it and then called them. They told me that the phone plan was 3 years and thats why I was still getting charged. I explained to them that I was told it was only a 2 year plan and there wasn't anything indicating otherwise and all I got was attitude, scoffing, and raised voices and them blaming me. I asked why if it was still active that I couldn't see it on my geeksquad account and they said the contract was split into 2 separate contracts. 1 for the first 2 years and 1 for the third year that you had to apparently reput into your account to be able to see it. I asked why that was and no where on my receipt did it say that and he just kept repeating what I had said and wouldn't give me a straight answer as to why. Its nothing but a disgusting money grab and I have never talked to a supervisor that was so disrespectful as the one I talked to today at geeksquad. He yelled at me and continued to cut me off and had extreme attitude the entire time and kept making remarks when I was trying to understand and I found i had to raise my voice as well to finish asking my question because he kept interrupting me while I was talking. Its a horrible company and I wouldn't recommend it to even my worse enemy. The customer service is disgusting and disrespectful and I will never associate with these people again.

I spent 4 hours and 40 minutes today on hold and on chats with Geek Squad. Luckily I was able to do work on the side, but the issue is still not resolved. It took 5 agents to ask if I was chatting from Canada. Once I was transferred to the Canadian chat, I was referred back to calling the 1-800 number. Our new work lap tops were not set up correctly in the first place and now it is an extreme hassle to get it fixed. They keep telling me to go to the store (it is black Friday today, not happening). I am extremely frustrated, and would be happy to change my review if my problem could ever get resolved. Would not recommend at this time.

My mother who is 91 purchased a ipad and paid for geek squad to set up. She lives in a retirement place that requires proff of vaccines for COVID to enter the tech did not have a proff.upon inquiring and hoping to send someone out that did she was told that they will not enter the building as they did not want to get vaccines .she did not receive a refund .
