After 3 months of searching for a new vehicle with many frustrations and cancelled deals I came to Steele Hyundai and met sales associate, Steve Croft!Steve listened to what I was looking for and found me the perfect vehicle for my needs! He was in constant contact with me during the process and even test drove it AND crawled under it for a rust check and sent me photos!He really went above and beyond and I’d buy 19 more cars from him!Everyone at Steele Hyundai was great to work with including Elliot in finance!Run don’t walk to Steele Hyundai if you’re looking for a new car!5 stars in my book and I’m very hard to please

With my assistance my son completed the purchase of a 2014 Hyundai Accent from Steele Hyundai yesterday. We live 3 hours away from Halifax so we relied heavily on Kevin Min to answer our many questions and provide additional photos. Kevin was very responsive to all of our texts and emails. The dealership was very busy when we arrive on Saturday but Kevin was still very attentive. Thank you Kevin for making my sons first car purchase easy.

It has been disappointing and frustrating experience with Steele Hyundai due to it's policies on warranty repairs.I bought my first car from Steele Hyundai and also got the extended warranty as it was 5 years old during purchase, within 2 years of time I've engine issues.Engine issue : On June 19th, the engine light indicator started flashing and learnt that during such incident it's emergency condition wherein the car has to be taken to nearest Hyundai center ASAP. It took 2 days to diagnose and conclude that it was an engine issue and now its been more than a week and warranty claim is still not approved and hence, I am unable to get an alternative car from Hyundai during this period.I am going through several hurdles without a vehicle during this period and also had to cancel my medical appointments which is very hard to find nowadays.It would be great if alternative car is provided immediately when diagnosed with issues such as engine problems rather than waiting on approvals which would eventually happen but causes serious issues to one's daily schedule.Edit: Thanks for your response. Guidelines and approvals are appreciated but delay of more than a week to approve the warranty to issue a rental vehicle is really inconvenient.

My experience in steele Hyundai was awesome. I’m being welcomed first step in the dealership. I visit the website but still have some questions about a vehicle. Customer service are friendly and Sales are professional. They have all my questions solved.

Beware, Steele Hyundai Halifax tries to overcharge you.I am owner of a Genesis which I purchased from Steel Hyundai Halifax and It needed a starter replaced. At first, they gave me an estimate of 6 labor hours for the repair, $125/per hour which is $750+tax.I thought 6 hours was too much, because all the other garages estimated about 2~3hours for starter replacement. However, I decided to stick with Steel Hyundai Halifax because I believed in them and thought there must be a good reason for it. And also because the Steele Hyundai told me that this is just a rough estimate, and it might come down according to the real time spent on the replacement.Today, I went to Steele Hyundai Halifax and left my car at 9:30 A.M. and got the phone call that my car is ready to go at 1:10 P.M. which is around 3.5 hours total.However, the initial service invoice they showed me was charging me around $970, most of which was due to full 6 hours of labor.When I asked what it even means by 6 hours when total time since I left is only 3.5 hours, their initial answer was “It’s a FLAT FEE”.It was the most absurd explanation I’ve ever heard that LABOR HOUR IS A FLAT FEE.I insisted I was told the fee is going to vary regarding real labor hours, and after back and forth into the manager office, they came up with new invoice saying 4hours of labor total $500.They almost overcharged me to pay $250 + tax for false labor hours they have never spent.I’m worried that the lesson they learned from today is not “Let’s be honest with customers” but“Do not call customers until the estimated time has passed.”So, for those of you who are going to fix their cars at Steel Hyundai Halifax, I strongly advise don’t just sit around and enjoy the complimentary coffee, but frequently check the back yard for your cars because the complimentary coffee might charge you $125+tax every hour!I’ve been Hyundai and Kia owner ever since my very first drive and I was proud of it, but now I not sure I still do after today.It looked like Steele Hyundai Halifax is having a campaign called “WAH”, which means “WOW” in Korean, you guys literally WOWed me in bad way.
