Sunday Morning of the long weekend, I took my almost 2 year old to have a Mommy-daughter breakfast outing before grocery shopping. It was not busy at all. I thought, great! As a guest with a toddler, you never know how much time you have with them before they’re tired of sitting at a booth so I was excited to get in and out.She was given a booster seat and a kids menu with crayons, myself a regular menu. The waitress came and took our order right away, I said I’d have the eggs Benedict and my daughter would have the egg option. They have 3 or 4 breakfast options they have on the kids menu. The egg option comes with some sides. It’s $7.99 for any of the meals and come with a drink. She asked which side we wantedThe waitress asked how I wanted my eggs, soft medium or hard, I asked if the eggs are still a little runny with medium she said yes. She asked which drink for my daughter, I said milk.Her milk arrived with a childproof lid and straw. Our meals arrived and hers looked normal, the egg had its sides. My eggs were light yellow fully cooked on the inside. As one who’s never sent a plate Back in my life I considered eating it. As someone who doesn’t get to eat out often, I thought, no, I never get to do this and it’s an eggs Benedict so I’d like them runny. She agreed they were wrong and told me 3 minutes for new ones. Great. About 10 minutes later she brought me a new plate of south western benefit. I ordered a regular eggs Benedict. This one was tomato avocado and egg. I hate tomato, I’d never order it.She came back and I mentioned that it wasn’t what I ordered and that I was confused. Maybe they sent the wrong plate? She said she didn’t know why they’d make this for me if they were just redoing the eggs. She said it would be taken off my bill.The manager came by to investigate and ask if I ordered hard eggs. I did not. He said the meal would be comped as I didn’t take a single bite from either plate.At this point my daughter has eaten 1 piece of toast and just the bacon. So me being hungry, I finish her breakfast and ask for the bill.Wouldn’t you know it, the waitress put my 1 year old daughter’s meal in as a regular menu item at $11.99. And charged her $1.99 for the milk. EXCUSE ME??I bring it up to her pointing at the kids menu that it’s $7.99 including the drink.She said no. You didn’t order that one. You ordered the one egg regular meal that comes with toast. NO I did not. I pointed at the egg brekkie option. She argued with me and said I ordered the one off the adult menu.Why on earth would I order a menu item off of a menu she didn’t even have. When she is 1 years old and has a kids menu? I don’t need my waitress to argue with me in front of other seated guests telling me I ordered an adults meal for my 1 year old when I pointed at the freaking kids menu. So unprofessional. Such a horrible experience. In the end I paid $14 plus tip and tax for a $7.99 kids menu item.I won’t be returning and I’ll tell anyone who will listen to go to a pancake house or Cora’s instead. Customer service is everything and I was nothing but polite and kind and understanding. Overcharging a 1 year old’s meal to compensate for a comped meal because of kitchen’s 2 errors is gross and unfair.

If you wonder what fast and efficient customer service and food service is then you should go here..The food was absolutely amazing and seasoned so good. A Long Island Iced tea can go wrong when the ingredients are not measured properly but every drink I ordered was just great..Good Job!!

Always love the service at Smittys! They make you feel welcomed, take time to talk to you, and always have a genuine smile to offer. Love the lounge, comfortable seating with many options to choose from. A very warming atmosphere.

The food was great and fast. Loved the building! The price was great (breakfast special for around $10). The only downside was the server. She seemed to be very rushed even though there were only a couple of tables and other staff. We felt more like a bother than welcome customers.

Food is ways great. Love the chicken wings, nachos and donuts. Service is absolutely phenomenal and the best part? They're super inclusive. They have gender-neutral washrooms, servers are trained on using inclusive language and they are just the absolute best.

From the moment we walked in….it seemed like we were a nuisance! The hostess finally came up to seat us…seemed annoyed that she had to, then turned out she was our waitress too (face palm) seriously not a happy server. We had to ask for more coffee…she didn’t t seem to like that either. Food was good…but honestly didn’t feel like she wanted to help us , serve us or be there. Sad because my sister in law was in from out of town and we thought we’d grab a nice brunch….it was not nice, and I really wished we went somewhere else. For reference…we are in our 50’s. Very very disappointed

We went to smittys as nowhere else was open and we had a relatively good meal a few days prior so we decided we were going to get the same thing tonight. Upon arrival there was only a few other customers sitting down and only one employee in sight, he immediately started joking with us and setting us up with menus and getting us drinks, we were having a bit of a rough night so his ice breakers and jokes were definitely livening the mood. Once the food arrived he still came and checked up on us frequently bringing new discussion topics to the table every time. When we were just finishing up the meal we ended up talking about my dietary issues and he was quick to offer advice! I never liked chicken wings or ribs because of the bone I replied to his suggestion for a good source of protein, he almost looked shocked, this man I kid you not went back to the kitchen and brought us out some sweet chilli wings and taught me how to properly eat wings in a way where I wouldn’t need to worry about the bone or anything. He’s a wizard! Thanks to Hamza I’ve now opened my eyes to a food I never used to even consider and I’m very thankful! His service was tremendous and the food was great:)

Went here tonight, first time. Decided to get garlic parm wings which were supposed to be saucy. They came out dry with parmesan cheese sprinkles on top. I sent them back, only for the waitress to bring me back my same wings cold, but this time withelted garlic butter on them. I sent them back again and got correct wings. But manager did not come out and apologize,and still paid full price for the wings. Would have been fine if the manager at least came to apologize, but I will never eat here again.

I love this location, its very new and beautiful. The staff members are very nice. I love their wing nights and kids menu, I hope they will keep it. They always give drawings paper and crayons for babies to keep them busy. Highly recommend.
