I ordered the Jerk Chicken Dinner for take out and the food smelt amazing! As soon as I got home, I dug into the fried plantain and was happy that it was sweet and juicy. I've had some dry fried plantain in the past month from another spot and this one brought me back. The Jerk spice was definitely spicier but we'll invited. Coleslaw was not bad but the Jerk Chicken definitely hit the spot. Lots of rice and peas in the dinner! Sadly they didn't have any patties but I'll try again next time.

I've been eating authentic jamaican food for my entire life and I gotta say I was pretty disappointed. The rice & peas didn't have any hints of coconut at all and the jerk chicken was flavorless.The fried plantain was great and made well and so was the oxtail. I was really hoping to find some good jamaican food here in Ottawa but it seems I'll have to go back to Toronto to really get my fix.

Rice and veggies tasted watery 0 flavour. I tasted uncooked grains in the rice Jerk pork was hard and didn't taste like jerk more like stew pork, also some pork was so dried like it was laying there for a week and then it was put back in to sauce and recooked again. Oxtail was decent and soft. But the server was nice.

Worst food I have ever eaten. Wast of money. Would never recommend. Order the curry goat, it lack seasoning and tasted burnt. Only ate the rice and little of the veg.

The value for money is awesome. I ordered their jerk chicken roti and it was awesome. Just the right amount of spicy. The atmosphere feels nice and familiar and the customers are from every slice of society.

The atmosphere is great, super vibrant colours and... if it wasn't so cold out, you could imagine walking off a beach into this place. Carlos was very welcoming, the food was extremely tasty and they do have those island sodas! I was a little surprised by the amount of bones in the goat roti, but Carlos was patient and understanding when he explained it to me and gave me a bit of a treat, after we talked. I will definitely be back, so many other great things on the menu to try.

Nice little restaurant. Authentic Caribbean food. Very good service. Everything seems fresh. Great fresh in house ginger beer. The goat roti was delicious. Prices are very fair for the portions. Quick service.

Jerk chicken was spicier than anticipated, but very juicy and flavourful. The rice was great and coleslaw was ok (a little too sweet for my taste). I wish they served it with more plantain, two pieces disappear quick!

This place is 5 star worthy!!! I was visiting town and wanted to have a taste of Caribbean and they delivered. Good portions and decent prices too. I recommend the jerk chicken salad, very flavourful.Everyone was very respectful too, drop in and get yourself some delicious food.

Easy access on bank street for anybody working centertown.If you have never had Caribbean/island food, this is the spot.My personal fave (Ox tail) won't do you wrong!!
