Jinsei Ramen Restaurant

The ramen here tastes better than any of the ramen I've had in Ottawa including some of the nearby restaurants that I used to consider my go-to ramen spot. If you like ramen, I would say this is a step up from anything else I've in Ottawa

The chicken karaage was really good!The black garlic tonkotsu ramen was the best ramen I’ve ever had!

I had the organic clam shio ramen and it was delicious! The broth is savory and the pork Chasu was so flavorful! Service was fast and super friendly. I appreciate that they were able to tell me what dish sesame or not as I am allergic. I totally recommend!

One of the best place I found in Ottawa if you want to taste authentic Japanese Ramen taste. Highly recommend to anyone who is a Japanese Ramen fan. Very reasonable price and the serving was also one of the best.

Jinsei Ramen is a gem hidden in plain sight! It's in the L'esplanade Laurier building on the second floor. You can take the exterior stairs to their exterior entrance or you can enter the building and take the elevator to one of their 2 interior entrances. They just opened in March 2023.I stopped by for a snack, so just had some appetizers, but was most impressed. The Chicken Karaage was so delicious. Crunchy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. One of the best in the city. The Gyoza were good too. Deep-fried with blistery crunchy skin and filled with ground pork, onions and leeks. The Pumpkin Croquettes were also also good. Crunchy breading with smooth pureed sweet pumpkin inside.Service was so pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant is much bigger than I expected. It's spacious, bright and clean.Looking forward to trying the ramen. I'm hoping they will add a grilled chicken or chicken karaage ramen to their menu because right now they only have 4 ramens and 3 of them have chashu, of which I'm not a fan, and the other ramen is a vegetarian one.Anyway, happy to see another ramen shop open up in Ottawa. Wishing them well :)

Sooooo delicious! This place is the best ramen restaurant that I ever visit. I had black-garlic tonkotsu ramen, and It tasted great. Chicken karaage was also perfect :)

Another great ramen place in downtown Ottawa. Place is quite large, spacious compared to some of the others around here which is great.It is a bit hidden coming in from Bank St, but it’s a place well worth visiting.Had Pork broth (extra charsiu cuz…siu me) and definitely will visit again!

Really glad that Ottawa has another solid ramen shop. I tried the pork ramen. The broth was rich, sticky, and flavourful without being over the top or unbalanced. The noodles were deliciously chewy and the marinated soft boiled egg was absolutely perfect.If you get tired of waiting in line for lunch at Sansotei, this place will satisfy your craving and then some. Plenty of seating, quick, friendly service, and delicious food. I'm excited to try more of their menu.

Really lovely ramen place. Looks super clean. The ramen was delicious~ The clam shio was light and the black garlic tonkotsu was very rich. Both, super flavourful! We also had the gyoza and croquettes. Loved them both~ Ate the gyoza so fast that we forgot to take some. XD This will definitely be my new go-to ramen place! Gonna try chicken karaage next. ;)

Very rich soup base. We both got black garlic tonkatsu, with a watermelon soda. Croquette is half pumpkin half potato and gives it a sweet taste. Kara-age’s sauce is very unique and refreshing. Great experience
