Dam Home Hardware

I'm relatively new to town, saw an add online for their specialty BBQ section. I needed some hardwareso I decided to pop by. Staff were very friendly and helpful and their selection of specialty items such as smokers, spices, rubs, coffee etc was excellent.

Always a great experience at Dam Home Hardware. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a favourite store that we would recommend shopping at and we will continue to as well!

Very very poor service by the employee(female) there. I think she's the manager, I've been in a couple times before and she's not very welcoming either day.Today, she was at the front serving the customer at the cash next to me, who was picking up an online order and wanted to cancel an item in the order. The employee/manager acted very annoyed by this, she was complaining out loud about having to do the return, and kept sighing and complaining to the customer saying something about it taking 2 hours to do a return. I don't understand why she was complaining to the customer. If it takes 2 hours, then the process at Home Hardware is bad but that has nothing to do with the customer. It's very unprofessional to complain about your job while serving customers. I waited for the customer outside and suggested that she call home hardware to complain about the unprofessional service. Such an attitude results in loss of customers, and profit of the store. I will not shop at Dam Home Hardware again. And honestly, I don't know if I would shop at another Home Hardware either. At least the young man employee who cashed me out was polite. But I think I'll stick with Rona and Home Depot, where I've always seen better service and prices and selection.

Great experiences, from Traeger to Pit Boss to fishing equipment, lawn chairs and gardening, these guys have the products and the knowledge to back it up.

I love shopping here for fishing tackle. The prices went up compared to my last visit. But the variety of things that they have is worth every penny I spent. I've already spent a friend to get his fishing gear at this store.

They were all about helping me out. They had the plumbing tool I needed that even Home Depot or Rona didn't have! The other thing that floored me was that they had a hunting and fishing annex that had many things you will not find at Canadian Tire. As a contractor, they can't supply me with the lumber etc I need.. but I saw so many things that us contractors need. Well done!
