I have never spoken to a more miserable person. Just called to ask a question and didn't understand one of her answers she responded in such an annoyed and angry tone. Calls must not be recorded because ahe was very rude and I can't imagine management would let their employees speak that way.

Closed since March 2020 leaving tenants without any help with shady landlords and their shady often illegal ways. I wish this rating could go negative stars as the LTB is a candidate for - 1000 stars. Absolutely another gov. program designed to waste money and do nothing else.

Customer service is terrible. After waiting for 40 mins, I try to explain the reason of my call to get help, and the lady cut me off and was extremely rude. I asked for her name and she refuse to provide.

Awful customer service.They don't reply to emails even though they ask you to email as the preferred method, then just take your money when trying to follow proper procedures but don't even file things correctly.I'd have been better off burning my money than giving it to these poorly trained careless people.One star is generous for the most miserable operators I've ever dealt with.Based on other reviews I'm not alone.

I WORKED FOR CRA FOR 32 YEARSIf I did what they do....i would be unemployed. They should all be given the door.

Nothing makes me more angry than immediately being hung up on before I can even say hello after dancing through a joke of a call system and waiting on hold for over an hour.Do people even answer phones or are you just answering so you can hang up on us?

I did an application as a residential tenant and called with a question about the application, the first lady I spoke to told me I cold pay with a personal check. 3 weeks later I when I called I was told I had to do my payment again as personal checks were not accepted. The guy on the phone felt like an interrogation saying to me why didn't i read instructions in regards to how i was to pay with my application, I explained to him what I was told and he interrupted me saying how i should be reading directions properly, terrible service, an I'm right your wrong attitude. I finally challenged him about his attitude and again what I had been told before, of course with his arrogance he just hung up!

No star rating.. there is no help for landlords. This was our first time putting our home for rent. We have followed every rule that has been stated by the government and LTB. it seems the rules are there only for the tenants benefit. We have people that are playing the system and now not paying any rent. I can't afford my own payments to live. The LTB has closed down their offices, and their phone numbers are disconnected. The only help out there are for tenants. Which is so unfair. Why is the legal system rigged. How is it that the tenants don't have to pay and still have legal right to stay in the house for free? Wouldn't it void the contract? What's the point of having the contract if they don't have to follow the rules meanwhile the landlord has to follow all the rules and still isn't protected by law. How is it I own the property and can't take back what is ours when the contract has been broken. The justice system is not fair and their is no help even through Western legal system (specifically says, can't help with tenant/landlord). Or many other platforms, so where do we go? How do we seek help when the only help we are told to go through closes down... Please help

All you get is a busy signal. I must've tried to call 30x at different times on behalf of my elderly parents who are being bullied by a landlord who wants them out to stage the unit to sell it.Yet they always paid their rent on time and had no complaints for 5 years.Called the useless NDP, M P.P. who are supposed to be all over this issue and they just direct you here.The system doesn't work people... And the people responsible to see it does just cash in so they can avoid Making it do so.
