Browns Socialhouse Uptown
Enjoyed a great meal at Browns Social-house. Great location to the beautiful Royal Theatre and convenient parking in nearby Public parkade off Broughton. I had the Fish Tacos which were excellent. And special thanks to our young server who had such a lovely “can do” attitude!Fabulous evening in beautiful Victoria!

Browns Social House is always such an experience every time I go there. The staff is always amazing, the food is always served properly and quickly. They have such good music playing and when I go there it is always lively. The food pricing is okay and decent in my opinion.

We are big fans of Browns, but this location really let us down.We waited 15 mins for the server to come and see us. Normally that isn’t a huge issue, but we had our two toddlers.When our waters arrived one glass was chipped, the other had lipstick.Next issue was the waiter got our order wrong, we had been waiting so long, I let him know about the error, but didn’t want to wait for another meal to be made.Lastly, they didn’t take the opportunity to comp anything on our order..not even the up-charge for the gluten free bun.I have been to 10+ Browns locations in BC and AB; this level of execution and customer service is the worst I have seen.

Place is gorgeous! Location is central. Clean restaurant washroom. Delicious food.So why the three stars?It's because most of the servers had their hair down. Old school I may be but our server's long hair was almost touching my food. Yes, I know I won't die of dirty hair but hasn't anyone taken Food Safe Certificate?

We arrived shortly after 7 on a Thursday and were seated promptly. Within 10 minutes we were sipping bevies and digging into the calamari appy we ordered.Before we could finish the appy our entrees arrived. The staff were great by checking in a few minutes after we were served a plate, as you would hope. Top notch service.The food was excellent: fresh, balanced in it's intensity and flavours.We have a new favourite spot in the hood.

Very fast service! It was a busy night but our waitress did a great job of making sure our drinks were always full. Lots of TVs around to watch all your favorite sports. They have a very large table for large groups if that's what you are looking for!

I went there with my mom for the first time a few weeks ago. I can say it was the best burger I have had in Victoria.Let me tell you about everything:First the servers and the host were so nice, specially the two servers.Second, it was fast and fresh.Third, the food was so delicious and tasted amazing. My mom had one of their bowls and it was so tasty.Fourth, the vibe of the restaurant was do friendly.All those points were so good that I took my whole family the next day for dinner.Thanks Browns Social house.I think we cant put review twice for a restaurant! So Im adding to my previous review! It has been fresh since last year that I gave this place a try. All staff are friendly. The last couple of times Itzel has been so nice to us and she checked on us if we needed anything, I know its our responsibility to let the restaurant know if we dont want something in our food but she kindly asked my sister if she likes bacon in her salad and pasta.Thanks Itzel and all team in Browns Social House.
