Golden Fur Shoe Repair

I will be coming back here for any of my future shoe repairs. I dropped off 3 pairs of well worn fall fashion boots, now they have a new life and look brand new. Excellent service and a kind, friendly cobbler or owner.

This is definitely the best shoe repair shop in York Region! Been serving his community for longer than I've lived in Richmond Hill (25+ years), offers excellent service quickly and for very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

One of the most experienced and knowledgeable shoe repair shops I've been too. My number one choice hands down when I want to repair my high-end leather shoes and heels in Richmond Hill. I can trust the work to be done well: great craftsmanship.

I would give a 0 star for the horrible experience I had with the shop owner. He started shouting at me when I asked him if it's possible to have the repair to be done a little faster. He gave the sandals back and didn't want to serve me anymore.

The owner is the kindest man who takes care of his customers. I recommend his work. Also makes keys here.

I damaged the tip of my dress shoe, that I recently purchased. I went to gold fur shoe repair thinking someone would try to rip me off and charge me $20-50 for the fix. The gentlemen working there simply said all that needs to be done is polishing the shoe, which he did for free(looks practically new).... I would recommend this establishment anytime, seems to be run by a honest man!

I would rate this store a zero if it was an option. I brought my boots in for repair a week ago as I have a huge event tomorrow night and he said to come back Friday . I went in today and he said sorry come back Tuesday as he could not do it because he was closed for 3 days because of the weather. It’s minus 10 but nothing was closed down at all and he started yelling told me to call the police ????? Really call the police for what that you didn’t do your job. He continued to tell me take your boots I don’t want to do them yelling take them take them . Please know I have been coming here from the day this man opened his doors I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life . I think it’s time for this man to retire I thought he was going to throw something . Truly save your time and go to someone that appreciates your business . I left shocked I wish I knew this before I spent thousands in this store over the years. No sorry and I should have called or anything like that it was it’s not my problem that’s what he actually said to me. I’m lost for words truly.

How dare you’re people leave a bad review for such small business that runs by old man.This guy literally making money to pay a rent for this place.Such place is just a CHANCE for your shoe to get a second life.

No costumer service at all and very unprofessional!Our little dog chewed the heel tip of my brand white shoes and I took it to this repair shop to replace it. The original colour of the heel tip is baige but he said he does not carry that colour and will replace it with a brown colour. Since the shoes is white colour I wanted to make sure the new tip is not too dark for the shoe therefore I asked the repairman to show me the colour of the replacement tip but the he got upset with me and said something in our mother language which was rude!

Great place for shoe repair .. Fixed my shoes as new.... cannot make out it was repaired and the price is very reasonable
