I was shocked to read these negative reviews. My family has been going to Donna's office for ten to fifteen years and have never had anything but the most professional, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient service. We have used her office for estate planning (best advice EVER!), wills, property conveyances, power of attorneys, and preparation and processing of a variety of documents. Fees charged have always been reasonable. It has ALWAYS been a pleasure to deal with her office and I highly recommend them.

Stay far far away from this place. I wish my daughter had. As a first time home buyer she did not know what to expect. Unfortunately she was subjected to the most unprofessional, unorganized experience one could have.She had to constantly call the office as the notary would not return her calls. She was left scrambling at the last minute because nothing was explained to her.And, they cost more money than any lawyers office we have used for a similar transaction.Go elsewhere.

We have been dealing with Donna and her staff members for a number of years now being referred to her from my parents. We have done our wills, power of attorney's, conveyancing for property purchases as well as authorization letters for travel. In our experience we have been treated first class and with the utmost respect from each and every staff member there. Every transaction has been completed to our ultimate satisfaction and in a timely matter. There is no other office that I would completely entrust our most important dealings with !

I walked in for a simple signature needed it was handled quickly and affordable. I see the negative posts and stand confused. This was definitely not my experience and I will be giving them my work if I need something done again.

We had the same experience as many of you! The conveyancer Harveen didn't explain things well, was intimidated by the buyer's lawyer -- she just couldn't handle a mistake the buyers and their lawyer made and caused a tonne of stress and anxiety. She said I had to deal with it -- the seller! I said you work for me and you shouldn't be taking instructions from the buyer's lawyer!" She's in the wrong line of work - she shouldn't be dealing with people as she escalated a problem that could've been handled better. Conveyancing took over 48 hours. I phoned on Friday at noon to see when the cheque would be ready and she said I have to wait for the receptionist to call me -- but

Arriving in Canada and finding such an attentive and bilingual team, to prepare our will and guarantee peace in our lives, was something fantastic. I would like to say thank you again and recommend the Van Beek team to everyone who, like my family, seeks a fast, efficient service, performed by qualified professionals, who perform their role with love and dedication. We are looking again for the office to update documents and although they are simpler, and with a lower price, the quality and speed of the service provided, again surprises us. I laugh reading “positive” reviews about this business.My experience was unpleasant.Those positive reviews were obviously written by either Van Beek Notary employees, friends, or PR people.See the pattern: as soon as a bad review posted, next day up goes the positive one.The last two positive reviewers have the same last name. :-)I personally will never use service of Donna Van Beek Notary Corporation again.
