We all had the 2 piece cod, I got onion rings and they had fries.Everything tasted fresh and good. Oil is fresh tasting. Would have loved a more tangy tartar sauce, but that's just me. Just glad they didn't give tiny little packets of tartar like some other place.

Food was mediocre at best. The wife was not friendly what so ever. Our glasses were not clean. The ketchup bottles nozel was filthy. Everything was dusty and had cobwebs. Awards" for #1 restaurant were posted all over the walls and when I searched them up

The new mr spud cafe in okotoksOverall, not worth it.Any toppings on the burgers and such you needed to pay for. Any toppings.As well as sides. sides do not come with the meals. You must pay extra. This was their garden salad. It was $7.It is a family owned business, and honestly the wife was super rude. Not friendly. When I asked her for stuff I’d have to follow her around my table cause she wouldn’t stop to listen, and when she brought stuff like napkins she just threw them on the table.They’ve been voted best fish and chips but I’ve had WAY better fish AND chips.Don’t recommend.

Don’t bring your children here! Felt unwelcomed the moment we stepped foot in the door! Was going to dine in, but felt so disrespected, that we did a takeout instead! We shouldn’t have even given them business. The restaurant was completely empty and my toddler sat on a chair next to the table given to us, and was told we can’t take up 2 tables.The food: the fish is good.The coleslaw: looked really old and unappetizing I couldn’t even get myself to try it.Will not be back.

Went there for lunch while I was driving through town got the homemade beef hamburger what a disappointment from tasteless patty with no seasoning to having to ask for things like a mustard and ketchup they didn't even ask me what I wanted on the burger I didn't want on the burger they just assumed everything The ambiance is definitely outdated and could definitely use a drastic makeover Yes you can still keep it nostalgic but do it classy don't do it so tacky what I really go back again I don't think so This place has nothing going for it my friend got the clubhouse It look good but it was miss things It would have been nice if they told him or gave him the option for cheese again we went in there nobody was there but this place is definitely worth a driving past

Wanted a burger that wasn't from a chain food place and this place definitely didn't disappoint. Got a bacon cheeseburger and fries, it was 3:30 and made fresh in under 10 minutes. Everything was real too, no bagged or processed food. I will definitely be back.

Stumbled upon this place during an afternoon in Okotoks and came in for an early dinner. I enjoyed the bacon grilled cheese with some delicious fries and my friend got the fish and chips which she really enjoyed. You can tell it is run by a hardworking family! Definitely recommend for an inexpensive, delicious, meal.
