Travis is a great mechanic and provides excellent service. It's nice that he comes to where your boat is located and you can talk to him and get advice.

I have used Travis over the last couple of years for winterizing and a bellows replacement. I recently had an incident where my insurance company denied my claim. Travis was phenomenal during this whole process as the situation brought a lot of uncertainty. I feel like he treated my boat like he would his own. He was very communicative, professional and he always showed up when he said that he would. He knows his craft and works very efficiently. His rates for being mobile are more than competitive. I highly recommend him.

Travis is a gem. He has on multiple occasions quite literally saved our day out on the water and even at times our season.Travis has helped us out of numerous jams, and even on one occasion, came out to repair a wheel bearing for us after our wheel fell off literally at the boat launch.Prices have always been great and he will help a guy out in a pinch. I Would personally recommend Travis to anybody needing work done on their boats or trailers and also advise them to consider dealing with Rippin Shores before choosing the larger, more costly options available in Nanaimo. Travis is a very smart young man with the perfect combination of brains, experience, and enthusiasm. He did Some excellent work fixing the mistakes made by a very prominent local Boatyard that I will not mention the name of. He was able to quickly diagnose the problems and effectively repair my Mercury Outboards and got them running like they were brand new again. He also did some very nice electrical work on the boat. I contacted several marine mechanics on the Island to help me with my Jet Boat problems and Travis was one of the only mechanics to actually get back to me. He took the time to write a detailed and well thought-out reply to help me troubleshoot my issue. He didn't have to spend that time but he did which speaks volumes about his services and integrity.
