BMO Bank of Montreal

Very condescending teller. As a grown adult I can make up my mind to close a usa account. Three times reason why I shouldn't. Never once asked her for her opinion and she never stopped giving it. Simple process until you get a teller that is so sure she knows better then you. Thankfully they are becoming obsolete. Never get any grief from an atm machine or ebanking.

Terrible. Please train your staff and management, especially Jessie White. She needs to be trained on how to find a SWIFT code and how to use a cheque to find all the relevant information for a wire. She acts like she's God's blessing and that her ability to do nothing is an accomplishment. I've attached the relevant images for Jessie White to learn something new.

I actively go out of my way to see the folks at this branch. Every single time I go in, I am met with helpful feedback, and incredibly friendly and kind service. Most recently, Chris was helping me out and offered some really valuable feedback that should help save me some money in the long term. All of the staff I have encountered here I commend for doing a great job.Branches like this one are the reason I bank with BMO. Keep up the great work guys!

I have been dealing with this bank for many years(2001),its was always welcoming walking into the branch.Until last month they decided to hold a check of mine that i tried to deposit and said that it had to be held for 10 business days, (I was fine with) after the hold period I went back into the branch and questioned why my check is still being held to then be questioned by 3 associates in a room about my job . I have sent to the branch the stamped check that had cashed on the other end to prove the check I deposited was cleared and still wasn't good enough to find out that the lovely bank manager or someone I should say had took it upon themselves to put my check on hold for another 30 days.I got a phone call on Friday from a lady in the corporate office and was told that I would here back from her(called Monday and Tuesday and left a message with no return call)now it is wed and still haven't herd a thing !I think it is time to take my loyalty somewhere else !!The tellers are great but management is very disrespectful and challenging to work with!!

Only one teller on a Saturday morning is insane. Waited in line over 30 minutes (not an exaggeration).

sometimes when it comes to what we have suffered on the past, our traumas or insecurities prevent us from operating at our best. what is not addressed or looked at manifests itself externally and we will keep being put in circumstances or coming across certain people that bother or trigger us, until we have learned that lesson. the lesson is learned when we take a look at ourselves. both good and bad we see in others is what we see in ourselves...like a mirrorsoif you judge someone or are insecure and act on it ask yourself why.

Customer service does not exist at this branch. BMO should really hire people who are more friendly and can show some professionalism. I am sure there are a lot people who can work there and who can be more friendly. I went with my dad to the bank to deposit a cheque and had some questions to ask on the account but the staff at the entrance did not allow us to see a teller and said I can help you but she seemed to ignore us. She was extremally rude and unfriendly. After 10 minutes of wait I left without my questions answered. I do not recommend this bank to anyone who’s trying to come to BMO, I am sure there other banks like TD, RBC or Scotia Bank who can provide much better service. I will soon switch to a new bank! This bank deserves zero stars, unfortunately google does not allow that.

Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE. I was here during their open business times, with a check in my hand for my business, and they refused me as they didn't have any tellers working that day. I pay all this money and dues and this is how I get treated. Such poor service I think I'm just going to go to Scotiabank or CIBC next timeEdit: it is kind of hysterical how zero customer service happens at this branch.I walked in and there were about four or five people standing in the lobby waiting for some service. There was one person that the general manager knew by name, and the only person that that manager helped was that person they knew. All the other people in that room meant nothing to that manager. The manager refused to give me service even when I tried to explain to her my situation. Because I am an e-commerce company with an electronic banking platform I do not have a debit card to use at an ATM, I have to use my personal bank along with SIN number and identification to add/remove funds to/from my business bank. The manager would not even let me explain this to her before she was kicking me out of her store. Before she kicked me out I asked her, are there any other bmos in the area that can help me as I am in dire straits" she replied with no none of them are open today. I'm writing this edit sitting in the parking lot in a BMO Bank branch in Waterloo that was willing to help me on this day

[EDITED] Avoid this BMO Branch.AFTER 8 DAYS of waiting. Someone contacted me from this branch to inform me they had no idea where my cheques had gone. They went in the ATM?Terrible customer service, I should have had my cheques the next day. Not a week to be told theyre missing.They are constantly short staffed. Will not answer the phone. It takes days for them to return your calls.They are always lined up to the back of the lobby, but have a sign telling you to use the atms. DO NOT USE THE ATMS. THEY ARE OLD,, OUT DATED AND JANKY I lost my debit card and 3 cheques in their drive thru ATM and have been trying to get back for 5 days. No one calls, no one returns emails. Waited 40 minutes in line for them to tell me theyre aware of it. Now I have to wait until maybe mid next week.So much for using your ATMS to save time?
