Thanks so much Ethan for our guided tour! My husband and I were the only ones and he did a great job giving us the history and insight into the daily lives of soldiers during the War of 1812. He really knows his stuff! It was really interesting seeing inside the Fort and taking a look at the artefacts. The musket firing and shortbread cookies were a great hit too ;) Guided tours run every hour. Highly recommend for those wanting more information on Niagara’s involvement and history of the War of 1812. Be sure to take a look through the welcome centre museum. Ice cream and very reasonably priced food available too!

Thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour with Evan (Ethan?, Eric?) not Ben. Lol. It was his second tour and he did fantastic. We had been to the Fort last year but just missed the tour so this time we made sure to make it early. The video presentation was extremely impressive. Being able to walk into rooms and seeing old items displayed. It’s a great place to see and well worth the price. We couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Such a wonderful and underrated historical place, with guides that seem to be really knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. The rooms all have 200 y.o. furniture and inventory, the guides are in the era's costumes, they also do a musket and riffle shooting demonstration. The guided tour is included in the admission ticket price and starts every hour. We really enjoyed the time we spent there, and there barely were other people visiting despite the peak tourist season (June). Highly recommend!

We went to the Old Forth Erie on Patriots day. (We are from Massachusetts) and it was great to look around. I wish it was more information to read about it at the forth.

A great place to learn about the War of 1812! Knowledgeable tour guides take you through the fort and explain it's many functions during the war. The exhibits in the forts buildings are very well done and kept up to provide a glimpse into military life back then. Highly recommended for the history buff in your life!

If you like historical places, I would recommend a stop here. There is plenty of free parking, a small gift shop with food for sale. Restrooms are clean as well. You can pay to go through the small museum with lots of interactive exhibits, then tour the grounds. There are also guided tours available on select days and times.

A very interesting visit to Old Fort Erie! There's so much history there, and it's really well explained. We enjoyed walking around and discovering things like the barracks and kitchens from a time ago!

Great visit today. Welcome centre staff were courteous and helpful. Guide was very informative and well-spoken, and the re-enactors were kind and enthusiastic. I've lived in Niagara for years and finally made it here -- definitely recommended.

Amazing guided tour. The guide was superb - presented in clothes and uniforms from War of 1812. Nice stories and insights from those days. They even demonstrate how old muskets works and shoots. Beyond expectations... in my case.
