Wee Watch Licensed Home Child Care Whitby/Oshawa West

For the last year, we've had Anamika as our provider. She has done an exceptional job taking care of our 3 year old son. She is very caring, understanding, transparent and will listen to your concerns. Her family is also wonderful, and we felt like our son was a part of her family from the moment she took him in. We never had any issues with her as she's been very easy-going. We will miss her now that we've moved out of town!

Our daycare provider Nan has really helped make our Wee Watch experience fantastic. We feel comfortable knowing she is with our Daughter and Son and she takes excellent care of the childrenwhen in her care. She has such a good heart and goes above and beyond expectations. We are so grateful to have found her!

I do not even know where to begin! We LOVE our provider Nan. We enrolled our 12 month old in Sep 2019. With this being my first baby, you can imagine the nerves I had giving up my daughter for an entire day , while having spent an entire with her and also in a pandemic. We were given a tour of the daycare in mid August and I was quickly impressed by the health and safety protocols Nan had in place to ensure the health and safety of all the kids. My daughter quickly took to Nan while we were scoping out the home ( which was to our surprise as she was not used to seeing anyone other than those in the household given the quarantine that that took place in the year). When my daughter officially started, Nan would give us daily updates which she didn't have to do. This had quickly reassured me that my most precious cargo was in good hands! Now we get these awesome weekly updates and can see the progression she is making and she is only 18 months. It is clear that Nan really loves the kids in her care. My daughter has learned some great manners and is already being potty trained. I wish everyone to have a provider like Nan, she truly is part of my family. My husband and I are VERY happy with the choice we made by choosing Wee Watch!

I registered my son in one the home daycare that under control of Wee Watch. It is in Whitby. One day my boy told me that his teacher hit him . I told child Aid , and police… it is under investigation. Although I have a message from her that she accepted her fault but the Police said , they should investigate. On the other hand, wee watch didn't accept any responsibility about this situation, and they didn't find another daycare for me. They mentioned they didn't have any responsibility about the teacher and find another daycare!! Please be careful to register your child here! If it something happen nobody accept anything!!!they can just say SORRY to you! That’s all they know!

We are so grateful we found Wee Watch & Miss Dawn in Whitby. She has become family. Dawn made every effort to help our daughter adjust to her new daycare adventure. Not only did she help her adjust, but her mom & dad too. :) Excellent communication, reliable, thoughtful & patient. Our daughter loves going to school each day. We can see that she is happy & thriving. Thank you Miss Dawn!

Our son has been with Ammara since early 2021 and through every step of the way she has worked with us to make it as comfortable an experience as possible. We were nervous starting daycare especially during the pandemic but she's always been patient and transparent and been a safe space for him to learn and grow. He loves his daycare family and I couldn't imagine a better place for him. I can't recommend her enough as she is so amazing!

We have been with Nan in Oshawa for just over a year now, and in that time she has gone above and beyond what a daycare provider is required to do.Nan has been amazing for my daughter and her parenting views are in line with my own. She has become a part of our family and I will be forever grateful to have her in our lives.During the last year myself and daughter have gone through a lot of changes due to her father moving out, and Nan has been a much needed consistent part of our lives. Nan has been amazing for myself for emotional support and has done a great job with my daughter in supporting her and the changes that she has dealt with due to the changes at home.We love Nan and her family and are so happy to have met her ❤️

Ammara and her family are amazing. We have had our daughter in her care under a Wee Watch since last august and could not be happier. She treats all of the kids there like her own and always has open lines of communications throughout the day. She is always excited to see Ammara and her family when she arrives and loves the kids as well as Ammara’s family. She takes great care of all of the children and they are all smiling, laughing and playing throughout the day. Ammara has also helped the development of Our daughter and she is constantly learning new things and loves her time at her house.
