Great instructors and so much fun to watch- my 5 year old loves his classes and tournaments so much!!

Just started here in BJJ with my son who is 5 as well. Not only is he loving having JP as a teacher but my first class was great. Not just because of the quality of instruction which was great but due to the other members being friendly and helping out.

Arashi Do hosted a martial arts themed birthday party for our two boys (4 and 6) that included an introductory class, as well as cutting the birthday cake with a samurai sword. JP ran the event and he was great! He put together activities suitable for the age group, and helped to keep the kids calm, safe and having fun. The boys and their guests had a blast!

Both my boys have been learning Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) from Monitor JP for over 3 years. JP is an amazing role model and I could go on & on with stories about his kindness, patience, support and genuine interest in helping everyone he teaches. If you are at all interested for you, or your children, I highly recommend you come down to try a free trial class. My boys have learned so many life lessons over the years and truly become a part of the extended Arashi do family!

Wow, what an experience. Joined 2 months ago, and thankful I found this academy. I am 65 years old with no martial arts experience and was a bit sceptical about getting into the sport. I have always loved Jiu Jitsu from watching on TV and was not sure my fitness level or my body could handle the sport. From the moment I contacted them, my first free class and now my twice weekly classes I have learned so many new skills. You progress at your own pace and safely grow your skill level. The Professor, higher belts and skilled practitioners are always there to work with me at my level to learn. It is a safe and welcoming environment. My 11 year old daughter also takes the kids class twice weekly as well and she is absolutely loving the sport. I have seen her confidence grow and understand now why Jiu Jitsu is a lifetime sport.

Great school, great teachers! Kids enjoyed their classes and now I’ve joined the Muay Thai adults group. Love it - it’s intense and real fun! Instructors are professionals who are patient with students and passionate about martial arts.

My daughter has been attending Muay Thai class here for 4 years. Arashi Do South combines a welcoming environment with truly dedicated instruction. The students learn to respect one another, to value hard work and to focus on their goals. She quickly began gaining confidence and was having a lot of fun doing it - even taking part in several tournaments. Kru Chris is a great role model for the kids in her class and leads by example. I would strongly recommend Arashi Do for anyone looking into martial arts, at any age.

Arashi Do Acadia has been a amazing place for my daughter. She just started taking Brazilian Jiujitsu at the Arashi Do and I have already seen her passion and excitement for this Martial Art. The Instructors are wonderful and very welcoming.

Our son loves this place. The jujitsu class has been the first class we did where he has wanted to come back over and over again. The instructors are good with the kids and ensuring even the ‘shy’ (not so shy now) guys are comfortable getting involved and learning.

Learning martial arts through Arashi-Do has been a phenomenal experience for our children. The instructors and older students have been excellent role models and mentors to our children and it is wonderful to see them foster excitement for the sport.
