By far my favorite place in town . good shows cheap drinks and even better people . friendly to all walks of life young and old . If the walls could talk the stories you would hear . Also the arcade so much fun

Great atmosphere. Lots of choices for on tap beer that are not the norm you would get at other pubs. They have a great little padio in the back and their bathrooms are super cool.

Favourite bar in Nanaimo, the bartenders are amazing and funny. The shows are always top notch and the door lady is an absolute gem. Treat the staff right and you'll have a blast here.

This club is a joke. My friend got kicked for signing her up on karaoke nightclub . Joana (a waitress) told my friend to leave „her“ club. When my friend asked why, she answered „Just leave my club Bitch“ which is SUPER unprofessional. Moreover we were in line for a drink for over an hour…. with 3 waiters working. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Only giving 1 star out of five cause I have to.

This isn't a venue I frequent. Went for a burlesque show. There was only seating for maybe 1/3 of the patrons. Not sure of how many bartenders were on, but took about 30 minutes to get a drink. (*edited* said ABOUT 30 minutes, I rounded up, it was 27 minutes, just so happened to look at my phone when we got in line and to when we're next up*)We were two short people, and couldn't see anything but foreheads. We moved around to try and enjoy the show. But to no avail. Was a waste of money. (*I'm sure the acts were good, but weren't going to take a refund*)Our fault for not showing up two hour+ early to get a seat at one of their handful of tables. It's a cash only bar.(*The review is justified to this visit imo*)The Queens hosted a burlesque, 10/10 recommend, the tickets they sold were equal to the seats they had available.

Went in for a drink on a whim after work and had a great experience. The decor, the music, the service were all absolutely outstanding. The server, Al, was a literal angel. So kind and friendly. Would definitely come back over from the Mainland just to have another pint.

As always, Nanaimo will entertain you, especially if you love live music. The old and historic Camby bar is now The Terminal Bar and the live music is, for the most part, local. But don't think; Ho Hum, local schmokle... the musicians in this town will blow you away. Night after night as I scour the downtown core for live music I find myself stopping for a good length of time to watch a One Woman Band knock out some Steely Dan and she owned it! And she was just on a downtown sidewalk playing for herself! Well worth the sawbuck I placed into her guitar case as I made my way to The Terminal Bar to listen to one of this town's Musical Heavyweights !Moths & Locusts" featuring the phenomenal presence of Valentina Cardinalli and her unequaled repertoire of talents as she presents her Awsomeness front and center while the Meat and Potatoes of this ensemble push their sounds around her to feed on and then there's the Wizard Genius and leader of this Group of "Note Serving Masters"

Average prices, but they have a nice deal on shots, 3/$12. The arcade area is fun, even just for watching others play the games while you relax and drink. There's a small outdoor/patio area if you want to go outside and/or smoke.Service was fine once it arrived, but was very slow to happen. I waited at an empty bar for several minutes before being served each time, there was no bar staff to be seen anywhere, presumably they were in a back room. I saw others waiting similarly long times at the empty bar for a bartender to show up.For my first drink, I was waiting in line behind a couple of ladies. The ladies were served and then the bartender immediately left and went into a back room--didn't acknowledge me at all, didn't say, Sorry

The little one with the scary eyeliner was super mean to me. I liked it. 5 stars. I will be returning.

If you're into a seedy bar with cheap beer and sketchy looking clients. But nice bartenders who are unacquainted with anything more complicated than beer or an order of some booze and a mix. I only visited when the place was nearly empty, so I can't say what it might be like when it's crowded. My suspicion is that you might be in a rowdy, even sketchier group.
