it would be a great beach if it werent for the drainage pipes flowing straight into the ocean without any treatment......water is a little muddy and lots of seaweed and scum ...shame on you Victoria BC drains to oceans

Saw geoducks in the low tide. Very fun to stomp near and get them to shrivel away into the sand. You can walk for almost 3 hours in one direction if you go over the rocky outcrops between the long stretches of beach.

Great beach, lots of room and sand. Low tide has geoduck goodness. Watch out for these clams trying to squirt you!

I don't go to the park. Its a bit over the top. The beach at low tide with my dog running free is a taste of BC paradise. Very long, very clean and quiet, great view.

Such a sneaky little place to have a park! A small little parking lot leads to a simple yet awesome playground with all the essentials for kids to play on.Walk down the hill and you're greeted with a vast strip of beach to walk and play on. Very peaceful on the weekdays.Would recommend packing some snacks and enjoying the view

It's beautiful, a real blessing to have access to such a beautiful place. Truly somewhere to cherish and enjoy, sunrises would be fantastic I'm sure, got there after the sun came up, fully intend to go back for another try. The sand is wonderful, beach is clean and well respected by the people who visit is. I strongly encourage you to do the same if you get the opportunity to visit!!

Huge sandy beaches when the tide is out. It's an important birding area, so please keep dogs on leash at all times and not at all from Walema Road to the park from May to October.
