Our road-trip was WPG to Kelowna and back- and I don't know if we had a better reception than when we rolled, dusty and tired, into the Patricia Hotel. Locals and staff were fun, gracious and amazing. The hotel is rustic, but everything's there; it's got character, and it's clean. I'd stay here over a chain any day- and it's your obvious choice if you're visiting Dinosaur Provincial Park. Absolute Alberta gem. Many thanks!

Sunday is family day here. Went to celebrate my birthday with my jolly good friends and family. This will be my first time here. I will certainly be coming back. The ambience is that of a classic old western pub. It is well looked after. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Connie waited on us, she was great, made us comfortable and made sure we had all we needed.Overall, it was a nice experience and we all had a great time.

after a day spent sunning and swimming at nearby Lake Newell, we tried this place for the first time.stopped in for supper and it was both reasonably priced and delicious.a unique experience too!hubby had 16 oz t-bone ($35) i had chicken breast ($24)you cook your own supper!waitress brought over 2 Chinet platters, hubby’s had his steak, raw, on paper and piece of garlic bread, prebuttered, also on piece of paper.mine was served exactly the same, my chicken breast turned out to be 2 breasts.grill is in corner of pub, you put your own supperon the grill and there are lots of spices and bbq sauce to hand as well.included with meal are homemade soup, salad, garlic bread, baked potato and fresh corn on the cob (this is in a bucket of water on the floor, you just select your ear and put it, still in it’s husk, right on the grill for 20 minutes, turning once. the water it las been immersed in steams it nicely)there’s a waste container nearby you shuck it into after cooking. juicy and delicious.everything on tables in centre of pub, you just help yourself, except for baked potato whichwaitress brings you (cooked and hot) and yourmeat and bread as previously mentioned on Chinet platter.walls of pub are full of interesting things and pictures, cat belongs to pub (i think) and is very quiet and unperturbed by customers.this is a unique dining experience and one iwholeheartedly endorse.we will certainly return there when next in the area.picture of boot on fencepost was taken as we went for a drive after supper around Patricia, AB.i took pic of only one post/boot but actually, there is a long fence with a boot atop each post.town is small (waitress said about 80 residents)and a drive through it doesn’t take long.this restaurant isn’t just supper out, it’s adining experience unlike any other!

Popped in on a whim for dinner and never expected this. Great place for dinner and you get to cook your food to perfection. Our server, Candice, was a delight. They were very busy, we felt valued as customers and it was worth the wait.

Stopped in after visiting Dinosaur PP for a beer and hopefully food. We did not stay in the hotel, just had a drink in the bar.Typical small town hotel bar. We came in and the gentleman came over and just kind of stood there, so we ordered a beer. There was no menu or even an offer of one or of food and didn't really have the feel we could ask. The beer was cold and decently priced. We drank our beer and left.

Super interesting Experience.. we had no idea when we ordered a burger each we would be making them on the grill that’s inside the restaurant at the back!, or putting all the fixings on ourself.. and eating soup that was Monday-Fridays “mixture” of the weeks soups, but every bit of it was really fantastic delicious and a really interesting experience.. thank you Hotel Patricia

Only visited the bar/restaurant but it was a great experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cool, with bits of history from all over the rural area. You get to cook your own steak over a huge grill in the steak pit which is a fun experience. The steaks were fairly high quality and the serving size was huge. Overall it was an awesome experience. If you're ever close to Patricia it's worth checking out. I'll likely visit again some time.

Everything you could want from dining in a small ranch town. Laid back vibe, delicious food and a cook your own option… how cool! The walls are covered in old ranch memorabilia and the tables with the local ranchers brands. Our server Lacey was so friendly and the cats so loving :)

Husband took me on a date there and it was an experience! We cooked our own steak and it was delicious. The soup, salad, and potatoes were so good too! Great hospitality and a fun atmosphere. One more highlight: plastic straws! Crazy how that makes a difference ha ha!
