Archipelago Wildlife Cruises

We went on a tour with Toddy and Alan, we had the best time! We saw whales, sealions, otters and other different kinds of animals. It was great!!!

Toddy and Al go out of their way to share their love and knowledge of the area and make you feel right at home on their home! We were blown away with the amount of wildlife we saw on the tour and the amazing lunch on the deck of the boat with the honeyeaters was the icing on the cake! What a wonderful time we had with Al and Toddy on the Broken Group Islands Wildlife Tour today. They are great hosts and provided an exceptional time to us on this tour, the boat is very comfortable, the food excellent and we were well looked after in every way. We saw bears, sea lions, sea otters, seals and many species of birds. We also got lots of narrative on the history of the region. It was a lovely way to spend the time and I highly recommend this tour.

It was absolutely lovely! I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a wildlife boat trip aboard a stunning and comfortable boat, and I must say it was an experience to remember. From the moment I stepped on board, I was captivated by the boat's elegance and attention to detail. The boat itself was a masterpiece of craftsmanship, designed with both style and functionality in mind. One of the most remarkable aspects of this boat trip was its focus on comfort. Toddy and Alan, the crew members, who were both knowledgeable and friendly, provided us with valuable insights about the local wildlife and the surrounding ecosystem. Their passion for nature was infectious, and it added an educational dimension to the trip. They were always ready to answer questions and share fascinating anecdotes, making the journey not only visually captivating but intellectually stimulating as well.The highlight of the boat trip was undoubtedly the wildlife encounters. The boat navigated through pristine waters and picturesque landscapes, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural wonders.

The Archipelago Wildlife Cruise was a relaxing scenic tour. Al & Toddy provided a very knowledgeable and hospitable experience for my partner and I. We enjoyed the commentary of information (jokes) and wildlife sightings along the cruise. Stopping for lunch in a quite warm part of the ocean with a bottle of wine to share was definitely a great lunch!

We’ve sailed with Archipelago Wildlife Cruises twice, and we hope to again. Al and Toddy are the consummate hosts onboard their beautiful Raincoast Maiden and they work hard to make sure everyone has the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a wildlife tour in the Torino/Ucluelet area, I highly recommend them!

We did the broken islands tour and loved it! The boat and sites were beautiful.The hosts, Toddy and Al were attentive and provided humour in their tour dialogue. We saw otters, sea lions, seals, birds and a bear. Would definitely go back again!

We did the broken islands cruise on a Saturday and it was the highlight of our trip to Ucluelet. Toddy and Al make the entire experience feel like a family get away. They are very proffesional but also very comforting which makes the boat cruise more enjoyable and fun. We can not wait to go back to Ucluelet and be back on there boat soo er then later. Best boat cruise company in Ucluelet and on Vancouver Island.

A very good tour with friendly people and very good hosts who knew what they where talking about.We have been seeing eagles, whales(even a minky), sea otters, sea lions and even hummingbirds( during the excellent lunch)
