Canada Post

I can see why this postal outlet has a rating of less than 2. Received notice of attempted delivery saying no one home. We were. We were especially waiting on this package. Seems to me the route driver has a habit of this. Not a good reflection on Canada Post over all.

I can understand some of the comments and experiences noted by others. Sometimes we can’t know what kind of day people are having or have had. They’ve treated me with respect and have been quite friendly. :)

It’s clear that the massive review bombs have been from previous years. Even myself didn’t enjoy coming here several years ago. However…There’s been quite a shift since back then. I can affirmably say that over the last year, this place has been very reliable. Even their email system has been so on point, very happy with how the service has been here!

I understand the bad reviews from a while ago. However, I would ask people to go again to this branch. Truly wonderful lady behind counter now. Couldn't be more helpful and cheerful. I always come away smiling.

1. Got a notice of delivery.....went to pick it up two days after receiving notice....was told that it was sent back because it hadn't been picked up within the 15 day window.2. Mail for other family members that don't live in my home and do not have the same adress as me (brother in law), will be deposited in my box because they know we are family and will give it to them".....but i am required to show id every time i pick up a package.3. Letters sent to my adress have been returned to sender because they included the PO box number....even though all other information is correct. And given that numer 2 in this list was happening at around the same time.....it made no sense."

If I could rate this service lower, I would. The clerk at this post office is officious, rude, angry and combative. I have been in this office about six times and every time she was involved in an altercation with a customer. On one occasion she was fighting with a customer in the office while fighting with another on the phone, at the same time. I have never seen such a misfit. Canada Post should be utterly ashamed of itself for placing this person on the front line, dealing with the public. She should be working in a mine on the night shift, not dealing with the public.

The post office is great for a small town, yes some things could be changed. But I find if you deal with them in a good way it makes all the difference. You know that it is listed as the 4th most stressful job. Thay have to make sure that your mail gets to the right person.

I have no problem with the Canada Post Office Staff in Grand Valley Ontario.Everyone is nice and helpful.Service is awesome.If I have a problem looking for an address, they help me out.I would rather go to Grand Valley Canada Post Office than go to Shelburne.Shelburne Canada Post Office Ladies are very rude there....

I have no problem. Mind you i drop off my parcels and leave. However my husband has chated with some of the ladies and she gave him some helpful tips for me when i ship in the future.

Terrible! would rate this less stars if possible. First of all this branch closes at five o'clock on average while others close at eight. This makes it very hard to pick up our packages on time. Secondly, the merchant said that the package was delivered but the package tracker said: We were unable to deliver the item to the recipient’s address. We left a delivery notice card there
